I don't think this is fair though. Sure you might not want to pay again which is fine. But it's not just a graphics upgrade. There is a great amount of work for this remaster, especially the first game. From all the graphical improvements to major quality of life improvements, it does make the trilogy feel way more modern. With all the DLC included, it's plenty of value even at $60. This was NOT a lazy remaster like some can be. Just my two cents.

They "censored" very little. You can look up the differencesโ€ฆ for ex, unnecessary closeups of Miranda's ass during conversations with her that doesn't impact the game one bit. Any "censoring" is nothing more than different camera angles in situations in the original that made no sense.

Why come to a deal thread you weren't interested in to begin with?

Mass Effect 3 was a great game. Your choices not mattering in the end sucked, but the game was great, up until that point. Even that isn't nearly as bad as people like to say it is. I'm sick of you fanboys bitching about that and acting like you didn't enjoy the rest of the game. You guys are a bunch of drama queens.

Given how many properties set out to make a trilogy and don't make it past one game, that alone is a huge achievement. The series was never a huge moneymaker. To do everything they wanted would've taken lots of budget and time.

ME1 looks massively better. With the changes they made, it's effectively one difficulty easier than the original since every class can now use every weapon at least somewhat effectively. the fixed crosshair helps as well. Not sure who thought up the scheme with the default view/look mode for the Mako but they are clearly a moron.

Currently on my second playthrough as a Sentinel (Bastion) after two playthroughs as an Infiltrator (Commando). With all the DLC included easily worth $60. I will put hundreds of hours into this over the next few years. I would imagine it would play even better if I had a beefier vid card.

$60 is a bit much but I'll do (oddly not 39.99 but) 40.02. I'm a big fan of the series and I'll support the game developers with hopes they make more like these.

I get that a lot of work when into upgrading the graphics, but it always feels odd to me that people are willing to spend big bucks on such old games. And this is coming from someone who holds the Mass Effect series up as probably my favorite series of all time.

Legendary Edition is a huge improvement to Mass Effect 1, but very little improvement to ME2 and ME3. Modders have created texture packs that make the game look much better than this on PC. Obviously, if you are on console, you can't mod and this would be good for that. Still one of the best video game series of all time, so it's great value if you never played the series.
