Yeah I noticed it is $3 on the website, but in the physical store it is $1. I went to 2 stores near San Francisco and both stores had a variety of colors/patterns for $1

3 ply cotton fabric only has a PFE of 17.78%. So with vaccinated people being allowed not to wear mask without proof of vaccination, you will probably want something with a higher PFE if you are still not vaccinated.

Yeah there's no way to truly know if someone is vaccinated or not, unless they force them to show proof of vaccination cards. My parents were in Vegas last weekend for this firs time in 10 months and got fully vaccinated back in april. In the casino masks were optional for vaccinatinated people but they didn't even check each individual, basically trusting they are being truthful and honest, which we know not everyone is lol

3M N95 masks are available on Amazon and eBay now. You can verify lot numbers on 3M's website if you're worried about authenticity.

Cloth masks should have been a temporary thing from the first 2-3 months of the pandemic, and we all should have had N95s or equivalent PPE from there on out. But that didn't happen obviously. Probably could have halved the deaths from corona if we'd have done it that way.

Also - unless something has changed - these are not actually triple or 3-ply. They're literally single ply that was folded to look like three. When they're on your face and they're unfolded, it's a single layer of cotton fabric.

This was about 4 months ago, so I guess it's possible something changed in their production, but they're a joke. Only good for pretending to wear a mask to get you into a store, and now that that isn't really required in a lot of places...these are pointless.

3 more days and I'm fully protected, thank you Pfizer. I'm ready to hit the gym and go traveling finally. I'll still wear masks though if needed. Especially since only 30% of USA population is vaccinated and kids, teens under 16 isn't at all.
