I think this is a good deal added the premiere service to my mother's ooma account and my own. It was $98.88 for a year. I chose free desk phones as the free gift (they claim it's a $89.99 value). I did have to pay an added $8.99 for shipping and also had to pay tax so my total was $115.84. If you don't want a free gift then you can save the shipping.
If you have Ooma without the premiere service then login to your account and see if you have the $20 off plus free gift offer... this deal ends May 31st.
I figured with the free desk phone, better caller ID, and the robocall blocking that it's a pretty good deal. I get a lot of junk calls and the junk call blocking available with the premiere service should be worth it.
It's my understanding that the desk phone wirelessly connects to your ooma Telo so you just need a power outlet for it.... no wired phone line hookup needed.

I had premier and cancelled it several months back not realizing how much I'd miss that call block feature and the call forwarding.
I'm thinking of re-upping and getting the Linx as the "free" gift. Does anyone have any experience with it? Do I need that wireless adapter too? I'm using the older Telo, but it does have that wifi signal thing on the top right.
Right now my router is in my home office so I have the Ooma base stuck in there. I really want it out of there as only my wife & kids use the Ooma line and don't need them coming in multiple times a day to check for voicemails. I know there is the powerline route, but that is not ideal for me.
Ya I have the tax free core as well. They'd love to get us off that!

Lol same here. I've been wondering if there's a replacement for hardware that could be done without interupting the service. Is Obi completely free and is it as reliable as Ooma? I always thought Obi was a temporary/beta solution that could be offline at anytime.
I believe free Obi relies on Google Voice.
IMHO Ooma is a fairly-priced system that has a nice UI and just works. For ~ $3.XX /mo with as little as I use it.

I'd thought of just charging ~ $100 to my account, but that would be a few years' service.
