Any idea about quality for either one, leaning toward Aldi, but doesn't have sizing, etc
I bought one from ALDI 2 years ago and it has held up outside in Ohio weather just fine. We use the provided cover when not in use - seems like the same quality that you'd pay $200-300 for at lowes or costco. The firepit in next weeks ad looks to be a little different then the one we have - ours has wood grain texture on top and this one appears to be smooth. The issue with ALDI is they'll be limited stock and available only in store so you've got to be quick to get them.

I bought the Aldi one 2 years and I can't recommend it. The top piece on mine was made out of some type of material that seemed like a mix of concrete and fiber glass. We kept it covered all summer when we weren't using it, and over time it developed large cracks in the material, despite never being fully exposed to the weather. I contacted the manufacturer about a warranty, and they sent a new top, but it took 3 tries before the replacement arrived without any damage. I put the new top on last summer and kept it covered all winter. When I took the cover off this spring, all the paint or coating they used on the top had disintegrated over the winter, despite being covered. I'll probably try to find some type of stain for it since it still works, but overall dissappointed. The mfg was Bond Manufacturing, and they make other tables that cost more money, but they must have cut corners on this one.
Fire is ok, It doesn't put out much heat, especially if you are sitting. The fire is too high since the table hides the propane inside of the cabinet. It provides a nice fire for looks, it that is all you are looking for, but don't expect it to keep you warm on a cool night.
Worth noting in regards to the discussion on Aldi Fire Pits. The one hitting stores next week is a new model for them. The one going on sale next week is the Belavi Outdoor Gas Fire Table. No reviews for it yet although it appears the table top on this model is steel. The previous one they sold a while back with the wood grain look was the Gardenline Outdoor Gas Fire Table. It had an Envirostone faux-wood table top that some had issues with. The older model was a little bigger at 30x30 and the new one is 28x28. I don't have much information on the fire pit from Keeypon. It appears to be Tacklife's older fire pit model. They have a 2021 version on Amazon that has 189 reviews and averages 4.5 stars. The biggest complaints seem to be the difficulty in assembly and sometimes parts were damaged in shipping. It's currently unavailable though, so I have no idea what it sold for. But several comments praised it for it's value to quality balance. If you want to save $100 and don't mind a 28'' square instead of a 30'' square, I recommend trying your hand at Aldi's. If you don't want to try to find one in stores, the one from the Keeypon website seems to be a solid choice too. You'll get a couple extra inches for your money.

Home Depot has the Hampton Bay for $119. It's currently OoS. I managed to get one for my parents in April, and they love it! At least if something goes awry, you can return it there.
The Aldi one looks interesting. I'm in South Florida, so heat isn't a feature I'm really looking for. More for the kids to enjoy, maybe s'mores and what not. Honestly, the less heat the better!
