Costco Membership Deal

Are there any deals on a Costco membership right now?

I know Sam's Club sometimes give free coupons for stuff worth the value of the membership, but I'd like to try Costco out.

FYI- with Costco you can join, and then if you don't like the membership or find you don't use them you can ask for a refund of the membership fee. The will refund you the fee up to 364 days after you bought it.

Costco has had promos for memberships from time to time, but I haven't seen them in the last year - might be due to the pandemic.

Create a deal alert for Costco membership and that will help you spot any threads.

If you know someone with a membership: if they buy you a few $10 gift cards, you can go in a few times, using one gift card & pay in cash for your bill over $10. Keep track of your receipts if you think you might return any item (for members, the purchases should be tracked, but I'd still keep track of all receipts). Certain services won't be available with the gift cards: optical, auto. In some (or all?) states, anyone can use the pharmacy. And you can order many (but not all) items online to be shipped - but pay a 5% fee if you're not a member. Certain of the best deals aren't available to nonmembers online.
