In case some people don't know, Chromebook 2 is unfortunately quite a downgrade from the first Chromebook spec-wise.

Apparently, the only thing that's better on this model is battery life, since the battery life on the OG Galaxy Chromebook is terrible.

Also, FYI, this one has no built in silo for a stylus and does not ship with one. You'd have to buy it separately.

I bought the Chromebook 1 a month ago. As a newbie to chrome, trying to do anything besides surf the web is a pain in the ass, but it was still worth it because of premium features in the G1.

I wouldn't buy a 1080p Chromebook that has the same specs as the average windows laptop. I would just save myself the headache and buy a windows laptop instead

Go to the Samsung Education Discount Program, log in, add chromebook to cart and check out. It will re-direct to to open a verified account with www.id.me. You can open an account with prove of current class transcript or enrollment. A .edu email is not enough.
