Will you be just benching with this bar? THen it'll be ok. Dropping it, probably will bend, but nothing catastrophic will happen like snapping in half or something.
Low quality but it'll get the job done for MOST.
no, this is probably the lowest quality bar you can buy thats not broken.

I've had a Max barbell 7' bar in my home gym for almost 15 years and it's still fine (not the same, but similarly cheap). It has bolts on the ends that I had to loctite to prevent loosening, and the collars don't rotate very smoothly, so it's not the best for Oly lifting.
But still, it's never let me down on my workouts with deadlifts up to around 400#, and multiple workouts per week in the 200-300# range. Never dropped except once or twice when I had to bail, so if you're looking to make a lot of noise, pay more and get more. There's no reason to shy away from a cheap bar unless you're pushing into elite levels where it really makes a difference. It's not like "Brogue" gives you a free t-shirt for buying their bars.
Honestly at this price, grab a couple so you're not stuck with one bar if you want to do a complex or circuit. In for one!
Some people sometime refer to standard plates as the 1" hole ones
Some refer to standard olympic plates as the 45lb universally matches the same diameter as the olympic bumper plates. LIke these ones https://www.roguefitness.com/rogu...pic-plates they actually say standard
is this a good price?
i'm looking for a women's barbell (6ft), any suggestions?
I bought the CAP 6' aluminum bar for my12 yr old last year, its not the cheapest but @16lbs he can put adjust the weight to what he needs. https://www.walmart.com/ip/CAP-Ba...6bfa68b16b
I'd take the CAP OB-85 over the PRCTZ bar any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I have the CAP OB-86B however.
We have two of the black CAP bars and have worn them out of the year with 3-4 folks using them 5x a week. They obviously weren't meant for that abuse and we've gone over the 500lb limit in some lifts. Sleeves are worn, a slight bend on one of them. People were asking for $150 for these too (FB marketplace) when the Titan Power Bar is like $150ish shipped, just never in stock. We have upgraded to the Titan power bar and rogue ohio deadlift bar. The CAP beast bar was on our radar, but availability and pricing wasn't as competitive as Titan Fitness. Our CAP bars are usually used for landmine or overhead press now. So, the PRCTZ bar can't be any worst, and will be adequate for us to slide into rotation. Max lifts we typically do on the Titan or Rogue bar. We're not doing Olympic weight lifting, just power and strongman stuff, so a bar that spins isn't a big deal, for $75 shipped is not bad.

I'm north of Houston, picked up plates and a bar (latter ran $94) from Bolt Fitness Supply
I love my crumb bumpers from Bolt. Use them nearly every workout. They didn't have 45lbs when I went a few months back. I'm out in Katy, so I don't drive out to them often. They have a safety squat bar, but people have said it's not worth it and to wait for Titan Fitness. Bolt is a solid place to pick up stuff in the Houston area for your home gym.

Women's Barbell for the weight? Or for the shaft size? Titan has a 5ft bar that 25lbs and 28mm grip for $80. But if you are looking for a 25mm grip women's bar, there weren't a lot in stock in a sub-$200 zone. titan also has a technique bar that is 15kg and 6ft for $75 (Link[titan.fitness]) but also 28mm. Most places with 25mm bars are like 200-ish. Maybe look at the X Training women's bar[xtrainingequipment.com]?
I can guarantee this bar is the cheapest possible bar. If you drop anything over 200lbs, it WILL bend and warp the sleeves. If you have nothing and need to start somewhere, this is a good option. Otherwise, "you get what you pay for" still applies.
You mean if you use this bar to snatch and jerk and drop it from shoulder height it will bend and warp from excessive impact?
Thankfully it basically is, with good direction in vaccination, infection and mortality rates. It would be kind of terrifying to think of these restrictions that are being lifted across the globe for so many social activities if it wasn't.
But, the virus isn't going to go away, it's going from pandemic to endemic, meaning we have to live with it. Much the way there can be flu pandemics, but the end to those doesn't ever give us a break from regular flu season.

Unless you are loading it up with 6 45lb plates on each side...this will work fine for an in home gym for people who can bench around 250 max.
The biggest issue may be the grip sections. These can dig into you hands if they are raised up more than better quality bars. Sharp edging can have an effect, but gloves can help.

After looking I now see it's a 2" bar so any plates and weights I have laying around wont fit and I'd have to buy all new.
2" is the standard size though.

Deeply wrong?
No one "misguided" you.
You saw a picture of one thing then your brain without any guidance made something up.
To be misguided someone else would have to be involved
*I know. The pandemic isn't really over.

Seems like a decent bar/deal to me.
