Basically the support falls on party lines, unless it can be worked into a reconciliation bill or they blow the filibuster it's not happening.
Edit: just for clarity, didn't want to get the politics argument going on this more just a realistic view of whether the credit will get added to make this a much better deal.

Bolts at one point sold for over MSRP and the SAME price as a Tesla. Look back at all the posts, people compare the Bolt to the aforementioned cars. Correct them, I'm well aware of market value. These, again, even at 20k, are overpriced. Just goes to show, if they discount crap enough, people will try and justify its value.
Just admit it, you are here to shit on the Bolt because you um, like Tesla and everyone should pay double for a Tesla when a Bolt will suit most folks just fine. Not everyone is on an ego trip.
The Bolt is overpriced at 40K. It is a very good value at 20-25K with the discounts. You can BARELY get an ICE car with all of the features (EV aside) for that same price.

That said, about the beginning of May they got more 2020's and between the dealer not dealing anymore and the disappearance of Costco $, they've just sat there. I am guessing she's willing to get rid of them now.
People here aren't focusing- this should be a fantastic deal on a 3 year lease for a vehicle whose limitations you accept, or you walk away. The EV market is going to look entirely different in three years than it looks now, and this is a great way to dip your toes in the water for little money.
For everyone arguing about MSRP and comparing this to a Tesla, your arguments make no sense. This is a great vehicle for what it is if you can get the right price. My family thought I was crazy for getting a Bolt and now they all want to drive it. It's the best $5600 I've spent.

In the past three months we've gone from 2 vehicles that averaged about 14 MPG between the two of them to a Bolt and a Toyota Venza (hybrid) at 40 mpg. We had to go to the pump once in the last three months.

My Tesla was 87K. It's used as a company vehicle, electric, advertisement, and service vehicle. I paid 71K less in taxes because of it.

The NEW EV credit that just pass committee in the Senate will knock an additional $12,500 off the price.
$9,100 for a new EV is a no brainer.
I see a lot of arguments in this thread on the quality of this car, but if you are paying $9,100 for a fully loaded EV with 250+ mile range BRAND NEW, I don't know how you can argue against what may be the slickest deal in years.
