prices on this hasnt really went lower than this since last year. but before the pandemic, it went down to $170 few times when on sale

printer prices probably won't return to pre-pandemic levels until most return to work/school, probably not until the end of the year.

dammit man,I was just looking at this last week. SInce it was 349, I bought an epson ink tan instead. Too much trouble to return, then buy this one.

This printer is decent but has issues with printing from Macs.. drastically slow. I ended up giving it to family and bought the Brother that works MUCH better for what its worth; It is also more expensive too.

Picked one up in December from best buy for $219... Can't really find any fault at that price. Replacement toner is a little pricey but picked up a color here and there when on sale or discounts available at staples.

I think you need to setup/use a smtp server... maybe you can use a yahoo or google server. I scan from the computer for now, haven't really needed to get the scan to email working but should be the same as with any other network printer/scanner.

How does this compare to the Epson 3760 ecotank that's on sale now at Costco for same price with 2 additional black inks? I know laser vs ecotank is different technology, just wanted to get some opinions. TIA!

I concur. I have the MFC644 printer and it's been a headache. Windows PCs print fine but it's hit or miss as to whether my Mac or iPhone see this printer on the network. It truly is frustrating. Would not recommend. I spent too much money in it to return it.
