What a ridiculous statement. H‑E‑B is always at the top of grocery retailers annual lists. There are certain retailers in parts of the US who are known to have amazing stores, and anyone who has travelled has encountered them.

H‑E‑B = Texas
Meijer = Midwest, upper middle
Wegman's = NE for the most part, but a little East as well
Publix = Florida

There's many more than that short list. Kroger does a good job also, but they are bigger than the regional retailers.

It's possible that these particular gift card offers are only available in-store since they have to be loaded at the register. When I click "in-store only" to filter my coupons, the HD/Lowe's offers are there, so I'm guessing it won't work for curbside. Just makes me curious since it says "HEB gift card must be included in order" in the offer details... so it seems like some stores may offer it. Can't confirm.

No Central Market near me, but if you typically use your HEB digital coupons at Central Market and they also have a gift card display with these Lowe's/HD cards on it, then I don't see why it wouldn't work.
