Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Were they line interactive UPSes? Most UPSes aren't doing anything to your power unless it's really bad or the power is out, so I'm guessing it's either just a coincidence, or you have problems with your utility power.
This is incorrect. In fact, most UPSs in this price range have a modified sine wave when running off the battery.
I really hope what you wrote is misleading or incorrect. So I'll ask for additional information. The last ups I bought was ten years ago, and it is a pure sine wave APC (by the way these units are simulated sine wave, so no computers on these. Fish tank air maybe..) and it would flag under/over voltage and I believe for spikes and brown outs, to protect my equipment.
If these do not condition the power (by whatever means) then what spec should one look for to ensure it conditions the power?
What the other guy said was correct. All of these consumer grade UPSes don't do anything except performing EMI/RFI Filtration when the power is present. Most of them output simulated sine wave when power goes off. Some of the high end ones will provide a "pure sine wave" similar to your line power.
BTW, most of the consumer electronics do fine with a simulated sine wave. Unless you're running a critical medical device or sensitive lab equipment, most any other piece of electronic will not care. Only exception that I know of are PFC power supplies where the changeover can have a bit of a delay causing a shut down. Nothing's gonna break even then.
The battery is replaceable, but costs about the same / more as a new unit, so really no point in replacing the battery. I've had three of these I got for less than $20 on clearance at Walmart. They lasted 4-6 years.

I'm not sure. It was model CP1500PFCLCD that I got from Amazon when they dropped the price to $129. I would believe bad power at one of the locations because it was out in the country but the other was in a fairly large suburban area. Still, what are the chances for this to occur with two different units?
I've been using APC in my house for the past 6 years on pretty much everything (switches, PC's, servers, etc) and haven't had a single issue.
I got one CyberPower UPS 650VA/375W SX650G $32.99 from TD for my PS5 couple of weeks ago. Same price but shipping was $2.99. Had one power outage so far and had enough time to turn off the console. I think it's great price for 375W battery.
Can we nip this "starting from $x" trend in the bud?
Click-baity titles are good for store advertisements, not for a deal forum.
Combining UPSs and surge protectors in the title and saying starting from $10 is misleading.
I know SD Staff pioneered the style :p

Totally agree. The more this happens, the less I'm visiting this site.

My experience with them: charged but never shipped! 3 times already
