I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Same. Just got the points for the wife's today and signed up for mine a couple weeks ago.
I'd be more bummed but meh well, still getting about 2000 free dollars this way...

I got CSP last week for 80K bonus . Just called to see if they would up my bonus to 100K. Frist rep said nope. Called again and asked for a manager. After some back and forth she said "let me see what I can do" and then 5 minutes later "you are good to go." I hope she didn't say that to just get rid of me. YMMV.
I just got it thanks! After I get the bonus I'll go back to my Freedom Unlimited 1.5%. (It's nice to be able to pay rent on a credit card! It's like a rent rebate.)
I just called Chase and they told me I can't sign up for this given I already have the Chase Reserve. Would my best bet be downgrading my Reserve to a Freedom. Then signing up for this Sapphire Preferred at 100K pts? I could upgrade this Preferred to a Reserve after a year if I wanted. Seems like the only downside is my value for Ultimate Rewards travel portal redemptions will be (1.25 cents vs 1.5 cents on reserve)?

If you had received the bonus for your CSR in the past 48 months, you are not eligible even if you downgrade it to freedom
Just went into the branch. The in branch offer is still the same as before: 80k bonus points with annual fee waived for first year. So much better to apply online.
