I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

They pulled from Experian. Got a notice from Discover's credit alert that an inquiry was opened under Experian 1 day after I applied for the CSP on behalf of my wife.

If I am approved, does that mean I am qualified for the bonus? I had this card years ago, but I don't remember when I last had it.

Update: this is listed on the application page. So I guess you would not have been approved if not qualifying for the bonus.

The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products.

I just got it thanks! After I get the bonus I'll go back to my Freedom Unlimited 1.5%. (It's nice to be able to pay rent on a credit card! It's like a rent rebate.)

How do you pay rent on a credit card, isn't there a 3% fee?

You can check your credit card statement and see which month and year the bonus was issued to you. Then you use that month/year to determine if it has past 48 months.

Does anyone know when this expires? I looked at the website and search this thread but do not see anyone mentioning it.

Applied less than a month ago when it was the 80K offer. Anyone know if it's worth getting ahold of CSR to see if they would match?

Didn't work for me. My statement is still pending and they are not even interested listening to what we says. One supervisor they are getting calls like this but they were told not to honor it.

Credit card statements don't show once the account is closed. Any other ways to check?

Just got the 80k deal last week and tried to switch it over to 100k deal (someone on here was successful). Rep said that the 100k is only available in branch... ???

Chase rarely match sign up offers. You might get lucky 1 out of 100. Its a waste of time.
