I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.

Read through a few of the pages and have asked this before on the churning subreddit, but I currently have the CSR, got it during the 100k point sign up and maxed out benefits on it. Should I product change it into the Flex card and sign up for this card?

You need to wait for 48 months from the date you got your CSR bonus before you are eligible for another sapphire credit card bonus. You can only get one signup bonus from either CSR or CSP per 48 months cycle.

I say just cancel your card instead of downgrade. You don't get $200 signup bonus points for flex if u downgrade.

I just called a local branch, and they said that we should be able to get this promotion and first year fee waived. I'll be heading to a branch soon.

If you want to make sure, call any location near your home to check before you go.

Going on my lunch break today to see if I can get. I am already approved in my account online and shows me 100K but would like to do it in branch to take advantage of the extra goodies such as the free year waived and hopefully the Grocery Credit that some were mentioning however that might be what starts on the 17th. I will confirm and update with my process, etc.

I get straight cash back on my years old regular Freedom card. Yesterday, the online portal said I am pre-approved for a Sapphire with the 100K bonus.

How much is the bonus in cash if I apply it to the statement credit?

Also, any way to use online Chat and get the first year's $95 fee waived? The branch is sort of far.
