I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Thanks for the list. Ok well, I suppose you can buy a gift card at one of those stores and it should show up as a home improvement coded purchase correct?
I had the CSR card before and my bonus was credited on 06/10/2017 (this is the statement ending date). Is it safe to apply after June 10th or should I wait for another month just to be sure.
Try calling the Chase customer service line. That's what the personal banker told me when I said I was going to apply online since they were only doing the 80k bonus offer in-branch then.
You'll need to follow the phone prompts until you can get a hold of a human to check on your application status. They usually just need to verify some personal info to expedite the approval process (assuming you're eligible for the card).
Got put on hold for an hour or so but eventually got transferred and approved. Had to hop on to a work call after that so asked for a number to call to try to expedite the card in the mail.
Called the number a few hours later and the rep was able to expedite the card in the mail and said it'd arrive 2-3 days later, and that all new credit card accounts usually take 1-2 days to "open" anyways. Essentially the rep cancels your previous card (that was being sent via snail mail) and expedites a "replacement" card which gets sent in 2-3 days via another carrier.
My Sapphire account shows in my Chase portal, and the eligibility/tracking towards the 100k bonus points shows in the mobile app as a line/bar as you spend towards the $4k threshold. As mentioned above, the new Sapphire account doesn't reflect as an open/available option to use yet in my GPay or PayPal mobile wallets. Only got approved yesterday though so assuming that will show up in the next day or two or once the card arrives and is activated.
On the screen where you can track your bonus points, does it show 100k bonus points or 80k points?

You should be fine with applying after June 10th. More than likely, your previous bonus was credited earlier than your statement date.
My 80K Chase Sapphire bonus was posted on April 28th with the Jack-in-the-Box purchase that put my account over the $4K threshhold. My statement closed on May 11th.
Will Costco cash card be considering as a qualified purchase towards 4k spending?
Gift card purchases are okay. That's one of the more common means that people use to meet the minimum spend requirement.
Offer details:
"Purchases" do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.
Note: According to my records, I was awarded the 80K bonus as soon as my purchases reached the $4,000 threshold - even though, by my accounting, I didn't reach $4K until a week later. The difference being that Chase counted the $95 annual fee in their total, whereas I didn't. So, in my case, even the annual fee was considered to be a qualified purchase. YMMV.
