I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Went to local chase branch guy didn't know what I was talking about till 20 min later when he found the offer. He said 80k points signup now and then 20k added later. No AF first year and 50 dollar GC.
Yup. I'd be WTF too. What kind of pre-approved is that if you still gotta wait 2 more weeks. CapitalOne does that all the time. They are still sending my dad weekly pre-approved offers but a few months back, when he did apply, they rejected his application but yet they keep sending pre-approved mailers. So annoying.
Yeah, I have all kinds of savings, investments, credit cards, etc... with them. I'm very annoyed.
821 credit score, little debt and six figure income and they need to review my application? Wtf....I was hoping to book a big vacation today and knock that $4,000 out in one purchase.
I keep getting errors applying for this card. Seems to be browser errors? I've used firefox and chrome. Tried applying while signed into chase account and get an error about connecting to chase site. Applying without signing in and it's just a spinning circle while "verifying information.
Curious if anyone has suggestions for fixing this.

Just called Chase and they said that if I product change from Sapphire preferred to Freedom Flex there is going to be a hard pull on my credit. Is that the same experience with anyone here?
Had the CSP card for almost 4 years. Trying to product change to take up on this offer.
Thanks

When I went into the branch to apply, the lady said I was pre-approved for the card. I was in-n-out of there in about 10 minutes.
When is the in branch offer good until? Doctorofcredit article said June 17, posts here said it wouldn't officially start until the 17th.
The doctorofcredit post you're referring to is reporting off of a reddit post, which says that the in branch offer of 100k points, waived annual fee, and $50 grocery credit will end on the 17th. After that, the in branch offer will be 100k points and waived annual fee, no $50 grocery credit.
It sounds like June 17th is the "official" start date for the 100k bonus points, but in branch applications should effectively match that offer (by awarding you 20k points on top of 80k points) if applicants signed up between the 3rd and the 17th.

There is no credit pull for a product change at Chase. I just did this for my brothers CSP so he could get this 100k offer. Try calling in again, not all customer service reps are equal
I was the person that spoke about the 80k in branch yesterday where he didn't see any memo or emails. I called the branch afterwards and left him a voicemail to call support as someone here advised. He called me back this morning and told me he found the deal and within 10 mins, i was approved at the branch. 100k, $50 grocery, first year fee waived.

So do they have to do something special to get the extra 20K points or is it automatic? I am trying to ascertain if I need them to look for and find the darn memo before they apply at the branch for me.
