I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

When applying in the bank, is the approval instant if approved? Also, if not and let's say I apply on the 17th and not approved days later, would the approval date be 6/17 or the date when it is actually approved? Thanks
Has anyone product changed their CSR to Chase Freedom and then applied for CSP? If so, how long did you wait. And were you able to apply for CSP in branch.
I got CSP last week for 80K bonus . Just called to see if they would up my bonus to 100K. Frist rep said nope. Called again and asked for a manager. After some back and forth she said "let me see what I can do" and then 5 minutes later "you are good to go." I hope she didn't say that to just get rid of me. YMMV.
What number did you contact. Just signed my wife and myself up with the 80,000 deal
can somebody please clarify the $1250 part of the deal? can i book tickets directly with airlines and then redeem the points towards that purchase as credit of $1250?
Question: What is the referral bonus and does it play out in this scenario?
I apply in-branch today, get my card in a week, then refer my wife who goes into the branch and subsequently applies.
Or should we just apply separately in-branch?
Thanks!
It's like any other referral process. The person referring you will get 15k points ($150 value), but that would mean you miss out on the $95 waived fee and $50 grocery credit and $20k points for yourself. The referral links have not updated with the 100k points it's still 80k points so better for you and your wife to just sign up in branch separately.
I called and product changed my old sapphire to freedom flex. The reason you see a "ghost" account is because freedom flex is mastercard and the sapphire is visa. This product change forces them to give you a new account number, but the old one is still available for some time.
I did the PC on June 4th, applied today in branch. No issues getting the new card. I was also told to wait "up to 30 days" but all the info I read online said 4-5 business days was enough.
Interesting, this is the first positive DP I've seen of this. Saw a few on other sites that mentioned that a few days after PC the banker wasn't able to see the offer in branch.

This is exactly the problem that I'm having.
I did a PC over the phone on June 5, went into a local branch on June 12. Banker can not see the offer in branch, and I'm unable to see the offer within the Chase app.
Can you please let me know where you were seeing other people saying this? I'd like to go read if other have found solutions.
