I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Does the in branch promo really end today? The $50 and no AF
From what I've read, it looks like the consensus view is that the AF will continue to be waived for those who sign up at their local branch. As to the grocery credit, no one seems to know.
I opened the card at a branch and the client manager there told me that I can get 100k points even though the screen showed 80k. But when I logged into my account today, it still says 80k. For those who opened the card at branch, do you have the same issue? The account manager did not give me any proof of 100k bonus.
For those asking about the grocery credit:
My banker had not idea about that. I specifically asked him to check if he could find any mention of the $50 grocery credit. He couldn't find anything. I got the card anyway and made a purchase at a grocery store. When it posted, I also received a credit equal to the grocery payment.
I signed up for this card on 2/2/18 so dang, i don't think i can get this deal, is there any way to get around this? think i must have closed it about a year later.
Will i be able to signed up 2/22 or 2023? I'm guessing from the language it seems like 48 months after i got the last point bonus...

+rep for trying it out instead of just asking like everyone else
I actually went to the branch three times. First time computer problem, second time they were busy and third time he couldn't apply (I think it has to do with recent reserve downgrade). I then decided it wasn't worth my time anymore.

congrats on the approval, just curious, why didn't you apply in the Chase branch to get the AF waived?
FYI: If you have opened more than 5 credit cards (from any other financial institutions) in the last 24 months then do not apply no matter how good credit score you have. I got denied twice and later found out from the a credit card specialist in chase.
