I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

What is the wait time? If 2 weeks, then congrats. You are 99% approved. If 7 to 10 days, then most likely you are denied. You can call 888-338-2586 to find out the current status.
Mine said 7-10 biz days. Not sure why, 800 credit score and 16 years with Chase with zero late payments. Got approved the next business day and got the card expedited. It's a nice heavy metal card. The new card isn't linked to my online profile so I messaged them to have them add it. Time to work on the $4K spend!
Anyone know if there is a method to tell if you got a Sapphire series bonus in last 48 months?
Get a credit report or go to credit karma and find the latest chase bank account, do some recalling:
if this was a sapphire card, you probably got the sign-on bonus within 3 months, use that to calculate
elseif the second latest chase card was a sapphire, you probably got the sign-on bonus within 3 months, use that to calculate
and so on.
I guess you have to have some brief ideas when your last sapphire application was. But credit report is better because it tells you the monthly balance. I can tell from the large amount that it was probably the sign-on bonus spending period.

Check your chase account. Still no email but the card shows up when I sign into my account.
I got CSP last week for 80K bonus . Just called to see if they would up my bonus to 100K. Frist rep said nope. Called again and asked for a manager. After some back and forth she said "let me see what I can do" and then 5 minutes later "you are good to go." I hope she didn't say that to just get rid of me. YMMV.
I called, asked for a manager. The "manager" dryly told me "no".
I opened the card at a branch and the client manager there told me that I can get 100k points even though the screen showed 80k. But when I logged into my account today, it still says 80k. For those who opened the card at branch, do you have the same issue? The account manager did not give me any proof of 100k bonus.
Same for me. Banker called in and confirmed the 100K before I applied. My online account shows 80K bonus.
Such an infuriating experience. Went to the bank, banker called credit card customer number and I was told 100K even if it said 80K on the bank sign up offer. I see the card on the chase app but it says 80K bonus. Called credit card number again to confirm, now they 100K is only for online applications while the bank offer WILL REMAIN 80K and they will not match the offer.
I feel there is absolutely no reason to lie or spread misinformation to customers. Chase is all over the place, every rep says something new smh

I called the phone number at the back of the card after activating it and spoke with a customer service. I asked what is my sign up bonus is after meeting the $4k spending requirement without mentioning anything about 100k point. She replied that it is 100k bonus. I agree that chase customer service is all over the place but I think the bonus is definitely 100k.

I cancelled my reserve at beginning of pandemic, will see if chase provides historical statements. Thanks for tip.
Any way to get the +20K or work around?
Thanks
