I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I was told the exact opposite than this by the banker at the branch. Said these promos change very often and as of the day before your post (saturday) it is 80k points, waive 1st year fee, and no grocery credit.
He showed me his internal webpage with the current offer in writing.
The alternative was me do it online myself for 100k points but would pay the 1st year annual fee of $95
A person who did both at the bank and online replied yesterday saying you still get 100k if you do it at the branch, it just shows 80k but you get 20k as bonus. So idk, I wish I got it in writing or something from the banker but he just told me I'd get 100k even though his internal page showed 80k as you said.
Applied today in branch after i downgraded my Sapphire Reserve to Freedom last week. It took more than 4 days after the downgrade for it to show up in the branch. Today is the 6th day and it worked. Approved instantly and the branch confirmed that its 80k + 20k.
Just went into the branch in downtown Denver and was told 80k with no waived fee. I explained what was being told to clients in other branches but she wouldn't budge. Not sure if she was just misinformed or if there's been a change now in branch but heads up.
I have called 3-4 chase branch near me, they all said that if i open on the branch, i only get 80k bonus and they cant match the bonus to 100k.
Just wondering, what did you guys said to the chase rep to get the 100k open at branch?
I called the branch today to make and appt for tomorrow and asked if they still have the promotion on the CSP. The guy said yes and mentioned 100k pts, waived fee and grocery credit. Says they will go into more details when I come in.
This is BS. I got 60k offer, then week later 80k offer came out, and now 100k. Tried calling to get 80k offer but nope couldn't get it.
do you mean that if you spent that 4k within 3 month, it will automatically show the 100k bonus on your app? i called multiple branch, they all said only have 80k bonus.

Pretty much every data point that we've seen in this thread is that it's a toss up whether a branch rep will know about the 100k. The reps that have already talked to corporate will know about the 100k.
The current branch offer is 80k/waived/50 grocery on their computers and that's all many of them will tell you. If you're persistent enough to make them call their corporate overlords, they'll find out about the 100k/waived/50, which seems to be some later hack where they'll tack on the extra 20k "manually" later. Most people seem to trust that they will do so and apply for the card.
Eventually, they'll update their systems to 100k, but the rumor is that they'll drop the 50 grocery (likely) and possibly even the waived annual fee (no consensus) when all the marketing materials are updated.
Also, there's no set date on when this switch is happening (maybe July) and no set date on when 100k is ending (just "TBD").

Didn't show up for me last Thu afternoon after 4.5 days post PC from CSR to CFF. I shall be giving it another go this week. Thanks for the DP.
