I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I applied last week and I see the card when I login to my Chase account. However, I haven't received the card yet. Any idea when the clock starts on the $4k 3-month requirement? Is it when the card is approved or when I get the physical card and I activate it?
Should be from when approves but if you go into the card info online it should tell you how much you have spent and until when you have.
until when do you have to use the credit? chase freedom is 5% on groceries in Q3 so it might be awhile.
You do not have an until when. You swipe the card at a grocery store and there is an immediate -ve amount posted for the same amount. They just deduct it from your balance but the charge does count towards the 4K.
I already got my $50 in full. Apparently, Wally land coded my car battery as grocery so my $38 odd remainder of grocery credits was immediately credited back as soon as the $109.xx for the battery posted on my card. Not pending. The transaction does have to actually post.
Any datapoints of 100k offer (and not the 80k + 20k) being offered in branch in any of the Queens/Nassau Chase branches?
I applied at a branch a couple of days ago. After approval the rep printed out the terms and there it says the AF waived and the $50 grocery credit. She did not see this in her system before the approval.

So there's no time limit? I would imaging it be at the latest within the first year of having the card.
I signed up for this card today at branch. Even though the offer says 80k points, the representative told me it is actually 100k. Also, able to get $50 grocery credit and AF waived for first year. Worth the time to visit the branch instead of applying online.
I went to a branch yesterday and asked about this and they said I can either get the 80k points with the AF waived for the first year or take my emailed offer of 100k points (no AF waived).

I thought you were asking by when to use up the "credit". I did not realize you were asking by when do you have to spend $50 at a grocery store to get the said credit. I have no idea. We expedited our card, charged our home/cars insurance (was due any way), charged a hotel stay for a wedding and reached the $4K limit in less than 2 weeks. We got the card on Tuesday and the 2 full weeks are up this coming Tuesday.
I am done with grocery credit as it automatically got deducted from my balance.
I got CSP last week for 80K bonus . Just called to see if they would up my bonus to 100K. Frist rep said nope. Called again and asked for a manager. After some back and forth she said "let me see what I can do" and then 5 minutes later "you are good to go." I hope she didn't say that to just get rid of me. YMMV.
Rule-of-thumb is to re-spend until you hit the $4k threshold even if you've already received the points.
I mean if you book a flight or cash out what can they do? If the rules are to spend that amount by a date in their rules and you get the points then didn't you already complete their requirements?
