I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Approved in branch two weeks ago, can confirm waived first year, 100k, and grocery credit. Anyone that would like a referral link, shoot me a message. Thanks
did you already meet the spending requirement and received the points?
It is people who step into a branch and ask for more. Branch system shows 80K points but people ask for 100K. There is no bait and switch here. You don't like 80K points? Go away and apply online. While branch bankers with limited knowledge but willing to call corporate to confirm 100K points, people are asking for a proof. Come on, if you have no faith and confidence on it, turn back and go home. Simple huh? Go apply online and you can screen print all the information you would like to have. No branch is marketing they have 100K points for signup bonus.
It's unclear what you're saying... the branch offer is 100K but only if you ask for it? And you have to take their word for it?
I just spoke with my bank rep that helped me sign up for the bonus in store and confirmed with him that while it says 80k, I'll be getting the 100k. He had a memo from HQ on June 17th that he read to me and it says that while it says 80, even on the tracker, it'll be 100k "behind the scenes". I wanted to check with him because a CS online said to me "I seen 80k on the app so it's 80k". But again, my store rep read the official memo sent to them so I'm going with that for now.
Yup, people who got it in branch and banker said 80k+20k then don't bother calling or sending SM just now. First meet the minimum spend requirement and if you don't get it then go back to the banker to question until then work on 4k spend and save the hassle for later, if needed.

OK this is a good approach. I have no idea why its so hard to get the 1-800 people to confirm what the branches are offering.
So what you are gonna do? Chase after them for every possible proof? It is that simple, while majority of people here has shared the experience of getting 100K points + waived AF + 50 grocery credit when applying in branch, you think you are the very special one and will get a unique offer totally different from the others? Again, if you have no confidence of getting the same SUB in branch, do it yourself online. In the meantime, why not focusing on minimum spend requirement and see if all the promised SUB is received before escalating the issue, rather than wasting time and harassing Chase?

I don't get the point of defending Chase when they are clearly the ones who don't have their act together. My only thought is that because this is an advertiser offer that any criticism of said advertiser, even if valid, is viciously attacked as it might lead others to believe they won't get their respective bonuses.
I hope EVERYONE gets their bonuses. This is supposed to be a forum about mutual support of getting deals and that's why I posted my experience, in the hopes it was helpful.

My crystal ball says try calling daily starting tomorrow to actually see the 100K offer on the app for your application. You had to do that for 90 days straight and DO NOT for ANY REASON charge your card for a single cent for those 90 days and you are sure to get the 100K points.

He called me a shill BUT. HE willingly walked in, took the banker's word for it and applied (GREEDY for the $95 waived fees and $50 grocery credit I bet) and now wants 800 guys to provide proof. If you want proof, apply online and see your 100K.
The Branch never had the 100K offer. The Corp is just matching the online promo. I agree. There is no bait and switch here and all he is doing is causing himself grief and aggravation and harassing the poor phone reps. Classic idi0t.
I am greedy too. I too signed up in the branch to get the fees waived and the $50 credit but I am NOT calling the banker or the 800 reps to "get PROOF" of the said offer. The back office told the banker in front of me that the system will auto-credit the 20K points a day or two after the first 80K. That was enough proof for me.

Yep, that's what the banker and I said as well.
