I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Chase is posting the bonus points pretty quickly FYI - I was able to meet the spending minimum before my first bill posted and points posted to my account after the bill was cut.
Now storing this card away and going to work on my wife's card that she opened as well.
Can someone help me understand how to refer someone? I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve (from years ago when it first came out and had the 100K offer) and would like to refer my wife to get the Preferred given the current deal. I cannot find a way to refer on the Chase website, is it not available to everyone? Thanks!
Did you already try looking under Rewards->Earn->Refer a Friend ?
That's where I see mine.

If you log in through the mobile app, it is right under Credit Journey and Credit Options & Tools. The section is called "Account Services" and then "Refer friends".

CSR doesn't have any referrals -- need CSP to refer to CSP

Thanks all, tried all three methods and seems like im out of luck. I get the error message below when trying a referral of my Sapphire. Works with my freedom, but not Sapphire.

My bad, I should have specified that it has been greater than 48 months since my last bonus. The issue is that it looks like I have the card open although I closed it. I'm asking when it will reflect as "closed" on chases end so that I may reapply. Chase thinks I still have the card open apparently
Nothing to worry about since you agreed to reallocate your credit line from an existing account to the new CSP account. In this case, Chase did not extend any new credit to you but approved your new CSP. This is a common practice when you have reached the maximum credit granted by the creditor but want to have a new card approved. My guess is your call with Chase was referenced to the first application. Then Chase was trying to pull Transunion for your duplicate application. Keep in mind that a hard pull only pertains to a new credit application. If Chase indeed needed to review your credit, there would have been a soft pull, not a hard pull.

Thank you, it started showing up this morning!
On 7/13 evening I had lifted the freeze on all 3 credit bureaus temporarily just for 1 day before applying for the card. I first tried applying from within card offers on my chase account where the 100k points offer was showing up there as well. It went into review stage. I tried calling the reconsideration line but it wouldn't even recognize my SSN. I thought may be it was because I had applied too soon within seconds of lifting the freeze. So I applied again through the link on this thread. This time too, review message. I called the reconsideration line again but this time it recognized my SSN and customer service rep said it was because they couldn't give me anymore additional credit due to my other cards at Chase. They offered to reduce the credit on of one my other cards and approved the new card. I was able to instantly see the card on my app.
Now I think TransUnion and Equifax put the credit freeze back at 11.59pm CT on 7/13 (start of day of 7/14), while I believe Experian expires at 11.59pm CT on 7/14 (end of day 7/14).
At 12.06am CT on 7/14, I got an instant alert notification from TransUnion that there was an attempt to pull my credit report by Chase moments ago (they claim their alerting is instant and within seconds of a credit pull attempt) and it was denied as my credit was frozen. Coincidentally this was seconds after I finished speaking with chase card services as I wanted to verify if my account was all setup correctly with the bonus etc. and the representative asked my full SSN couple of times while trying to pull up my new card account. Wondering if I should be worried about the second attempt to pull my credit report which was denied. I don't see any alerts showing on Experian or Equifax other than the successful hard pulls of 7/13 which I also see on TransUnion as well.
Trying to understand your situation. You requested to close the CSP but it remains open as of today?
Since only one Sapphire card is allowed by Chase, you cannot apply again if your old CSP remains open. You have 2 options here. One is to close your current CSP account and reapply again. The problem is it may take up to 30 days for Chase to update the system reflecting your account closure. By that time this offer may have expired. Another option is to product change/downgrade your CSP to a no-fee card, commonly Chase Freedom Unlimited. It takes 3 to 5 days for Chase to update the new account status. And then you can reapply again.

I think you are spot on, I received two e-letters. One for approval and the other saying my application is on hold due to TransUnion pull failure. But I am wondering why it didn't get pulled righaway and why they are trying to pull the transunion much later.
Thanks! Wife product changed her Sapphire Reserve to Freedom on Friday. Think she's good to apply for this tomorrow?
I did the product change on 07/07, just went into branch and they couldn't do it because they said it was still showing as active. May have to do this online.

Used to have both the CSR and CSP
Apparently you can only have one Sapphire product at a time so no go for me on the preferred.
