I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Do they give access to your card number right away or do you have to wait for physical card? I need to pay a $2000 bill within next 7 days which would help with the $4K spend.
Ask for free expedited shipping after approval -- should get the card in 1-3 biz days by UPS
They don't give card number -- some people have been able to add the card to mobile wallet (Apple/Google/Samsung Pay) after a few days using the Chase app
Rumor says the waived AF + $50 grocery credit + 100K SUB points when signing up in branch will end tomorrow. Does the $50 grocery credit affect your desire to sign up the CSP? If not, you should just go to a branch to sign up, have faith on your banker, and hope the rumor is true. Even if you don't get the $50 grocery credit, you are still getting the AF waived + 100K points, better than applying online unless you have someone else to refer you and earn another 20K points.

Seeing conflicting reports about the $50 grocery credit. I called my branch and they say it's still available, although they could be misinformed.
Was anyone able to get the AF waived and $50 grocery credit when applying in person today or yesterday?
Trash Customer Service. Waited over the phone for 8 + hours in total to finally tell me they were unable to verify my identity! They ended up telling me that I could apply again for this credit card if I'd like. I laughed at them and say "you're freaking kidding me?!" I'm sticking with Amex: at least they know how to handle their customers.
I stopped be my local branch today to sign up. The rep showed me on her computer screen the details on the current promo. It included the $50 grocery credit and 80k points. She seemed quite familiar with the 100k mail promo and said the only branch sign-ups eligible for the extra 20k bonus were current members with Chase Sapphire checking accounts.

I signed up anyway and will hope for the best.
That's a new one that only current Chase Sapphire checking account members get 100K.
I don't even have a checking account at Chase. I already got the 100K from the in-branch application. Got the fee waived, got the $50 and already referred the wife and got her card too.
You should be good to go. Chalk it up to the clueless bankers at the branches.
That sounds about right. 5 point drop when typical reported balance is 2k and you jump to 6k. Even with low utilization. No one would believe me. If you typically only report a few hundred and you jump to 4k, that's when you'll see a double digit drop. Regardless of utilization.
I wonder if its more pronounced for people with really high scores like over 820. Any mistake and they'll ding you more to knock you down a bit. Maybe if you are below 800 this doesnt affect you as much. I'm guessing if you are below 700 this probably doesnt affect you at all. Hard to tell since the scoring system is proprietary.
Over 800. BOA made it dip. In 2 months it was again over 800 and the Chase hard pull and then the 4K hit put me back to 794 or so.
At one point before the BOA application, I remember being at 814. I have never seen 820. Not that it may not have been but normally I do not track my credit scores at all.
Recently I got approved for a United Quest card with 100K miles. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks I never received it. It has been a pain to work with both United and Chase to get the card while I had to spend the money I was planning to put for my vacation.
Does anyone know if Chase will be open to transfer the approval to this card if I visit a bank today?

When you applied, did it say 80k on the branch's computer screen, and did the app say 80k once you were approved? I just applied today in branch and the offer stated 80k + $50 grocery + $95AF waived. Once approved, the new card in my wallet app shows "Spend $4k to earn 80k points"
Does the 48 month rule apply if you had a Chase INK Business Preferred account bonus paid out in the past 48 months? ...or does it apply to within the Sapphire ecosystem only? thnx!
Given the success of some people in employing the double-dip method to get both Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Preferred bonuses simultaneously, I'd say that you have a better than 50-50 chance of being awarded 200K points if you meet each card's minimum spend requirements.
Good luck!
And that would be 220K points. You forgot to include the referral bonus.
Damn, I was about to contact chase to ask why I got approved two cards. Now you made me think twice. Guess I will wait until I receive both cards and see if I can get 100K bonus terms in printing first.

No, it doesn't include the Business line of cards.
