I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I just got back from my branch in NY and for whatever it is worth, she told me the entire offer, $50 credit and all, was extended, but she had no documentation of that. I was already there so did it anyway as Experian website finally came back up.
Don't just go by the point credit tracker. That bar will ALWAYS say 80K. In the details of the rewards you will see you earked 104,xxx points already and the last transaction that took you over the 4K will have 80K, 20K and that transaction's worth points all broken up separately.
Does it take 1 full statement to cut before I see the 20k? When I look under "Current and Pending Activity" (on desktop by the way) is see the item that triggered the 80k but that plus points on the item are all that shows. No other items show 20k either

No. It does not take a full statement. My additional 20K points were on the same transaction but I was looking at it in the Chase phone app.
My first statement arrived today and as expected, it clearly lists 80K and 20K in separate lines as New Card Bonus points in the list of points break up.
Sign in your Ultimate Rewards account, click Your Dashboard, down below you will see the transaction that met the $4000 spend threshold. On the right of that transaction under "points earned" it should show 100K points plus 1x points of the dollar amount of the transaction.

Spent the 4k but only seeing the 80,000 points in the dashboard that will credit next statement. Is there a way to trigger the 20,000 points and grocery credit such as installing the app? I applied in branch a few weeks ago...
If I currently have a CSR card, is it better for me to cancel it or downgrade to a Freedom card? Got the CSR card more than two years ago. Then I'll apply for the CSP after a week.

You can't have earned your CSR bonus within the last 48 months
Might sound fishy to you but it worked exactly as the rep said and I was able to apply today. Rep did say that balances would show as combined in my account but Chase tracked them separately, In any event, worth trying.
Congratulations! Beat the deadline!
It takes a few days for a downgraded account to process in Chase's system. More than likely, it simply processed out by the time you applied today. Reference: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/my...-approval/

Stupid question, anyone know how the product rules work in my situation?
- I had a CSR from 2016 and cancelled In 2020
- I had a CSP from I think 2014-2018
- I still have a Freedom that was converted to Freedom Flex in 2021 (so currently only carry the flex, and I know I'm eligible for either CSP/CSR bonuses)
Can I apply for the CSP now and get the 100k (or rather, In a branch to get the extra perks) and still apply for the CSR in the next year or two (and still be eligible for any promo bonus available at that time)? If I recall correctly the CSP and CSR are two different products, but I always read mixed messages.
It depends. If you've never had any Freedom cards, it'd be better to just cancel your CSR because in future you can still be eligible for any sign-up bonus of Freedom cards. Keep in mind that there are 3 different Freedom cards. Getting SUB of one Freedom card does not disqualify you from getting SUB of another.
If you already have a Freedom card, you can downgrade your CSR to the same Freedom. Chase allows customers to have more than one Freedom. Or you can simply move the credit line from the CSR to your existing Freedom and then close the CSR. This option ensures you won't lose the credit line which helps your overall credit utilization.

Chase changed the rule in 2019. Customers are now only allow to have one Sapphire card. In your case you are eligible for signing up the CSP today, but you won't be able to apply for another CSR while having the CSP.

Is that screen shot for an account signed up in-branch or online? My understanding is that the online bonus will show up as a single 100K award, like your screen shot. The in-branch bonus will show up as two awards, one for 80K and one for 20K, as has been reported by others.
My wife signed up online while I signed up in branch. But both show the same way as on my screenshot. The points are not credited as of yet. These are the transactions in the current month and the points will be reflected in next statement. Perhaps in the statement the points will be split and shown as 80K + 20K.
