I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

You'll still earn rewards on any purchases you erase with Pay Yourself Back
Remember that the Pay Yourself Back feature is just another way you can redeem your rewards, so it won't affect the earning rates you have with your Chase card.
I assume purchases paid by Pay Yourself Back option still count towards the minimum spend since they still earn points and thus implying they are valid purchases. I could be wrong though.

Where do I find the restriction that "All purchases redeemed via the Pay Yourself Back option are ineligible for meeting the minimum spend limit"? TIA
I got an email and it's 100K invitation and 20K as bonus.
Where did it say 20k bonus in the email? I got one but it's titled: "Our best offer ever: Earn 100,000 bonus points" No mention of the extra 20k bonus anywhere :[
"OUR BEST OFFER EVER: Earn up to strike out75,000 100,000 bonus points per year by referring friends for the Chase Sapphire PreferredĀ® Credit Card. That's strike out15,000 20,000 bonus points for each friend who gets approved."
The extra 20K points is for referral and it is not targeted. You may refer anyone to apply for the CSP via your referral link. Once they are approved you will earn an extra 20K points. You may generate your referral link here[chase.com].

Thank you very much for sharing the article and your opinion on the matter! It would be great if we could find a written authority one way or another!!
Since we have 90 days to pay eligible purchases with Pay Yourself Back, it'd be more safe if wait until the 100K points posted to our accounts before using Pay Yourself Back.

Great idea! Certainly, we should wait till the 100K bonus posted to our accounts before redeeming the points via Pay Yourself Back.
Again, thanks a lot!

I already got the 100K points. We also had to return one of the items but we were way over the 4K spend so the return still has me over 4K in the current statement.
I am getting ALL the dinner charges and grocery charges as eligibe (NOT the ones they already credited for the $50 grocery credit). Safe to apply the 25% bonus credit and pay myself on those? They don't total to a whole lot but still its a 25% points bonus.
Where do I find the restriction that "All purchases redeemed via the Pay Yourself Back option are ineligible for meeting the minimum spend limit"? TIA
Sorry, I currently don't have access to my home PC where I keep all of my records. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
I thought it was via Secure Message, but I checked my Chase account and that turned out to be a negative. Might have been via Customer Service, but my notes would be on my home PC - which I'm not sure works any more. (Long, sad story - which I don't care to burden you with.)

Thanks for the information, I already read that. I guess is there any other way to get confirmation now or waiting one month is the earliest?
