I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Thanks for your help! I converted my wife's card last week and got $87 annual fee credit refunded. I'll have her apply for CSP through my referral link this Friday.
I reda a report that the 100K offer would end by end of sept but I would say applying by Aug 15, when enhanced card benefits itself kick in, would probably be a safe time to apply.

Thank you for contacting us. , even if you use the pay yourself back feature towards a posted purchase on the account, that purchase will be counted towards the spend threshold. You'll receive 100,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. You'll be eligible for the bonus as long as: - You haven't received a new cardmember bonus on this account in the past 48 months. - Your account is open and not in default when we post the bonus. Purchases do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable. We appreciate you being a Chase customer. Thank you, Janet Chase Email Servicing 1-800-493-3319
Great to hear! Now, I should use Pay Yourself Back with peace of mind once the bonus posted.

Has anyone got a prorated refund for the reserve annual fee? I'm considering PC today and paid the annual fee last November

AFAIK that should work for PCs (just not cancellations) so long as that wasn't your first annual fee.... (chase won't let you downgrade until you've had the card more than 12 months)-- just be sure you've used up all your credits for the year first...

Does the 3 month timer start after your first purchase? after you get accepted? or after you receive and activate the card?

How is this useful? You'll get $1250 in statement credits but that means you'll have to spend another $1250 in purchases. You will have already paid off your $4000 in purchases to trigger the 100k points.

The card is on the way. Need to do some reading to maximize UR points since the family is starting to travel again. I'll be able to transfer all the UR points from other Chase cards to CRP, correct?

I have questions for the Chase gurus out there. I have a CSR that renews the first of august. I was using all my points up with the pay yourself back feature because I wanted to downgrade and not pay the 550 fee. Then this csp offer came out. We signed my husband up for it and his bonus points should be available around 7/28.

My plan is to transfer those to my CSR and pay myself back to get 1.5 vs 1.25. I also want to use the 300 travel credit. My question is if I can get all that done, can I still downgrade within 30 days of the annual fee and get 100% of my fee refunded? Do they hold it against you if you use the 300 travel reward? I'm not eligible for csp bonus due to 48 month rule.

AFAIK your plan should work.

That said- you should check the terms of your CSR. For older ones, the $300 credit renews after your December statement.... for newer cards it's $300 per cardmember year.

If you're in the "older" situation then you'd be better off NOT downgrading.... then wait until after Dec closes, and use ANOTHER $300 travel credit, THEN downgrade and get a prorated refund of ~2/3rds your annual fee (which is less than the $300 credit you gain- not to mention 4 more months of having the better card in hand)

Officially, the day you're approved for the card.

Real worth data appears to suggest you've got nearer 110 days rather than 90 to make the spend... but always better to err on the side of caution as the actual wording of the offer is 90 days from approval.

Thanks for your response!
I'm newer so I get the 300 credit in august. So I'm thinking I'll be good. Now I just need my grocery store to offer 4x fuel perks on gift cards during this period and I'm golden.

Went in this morning and applied at a Chase location. The 100k promotion + waived annual fee is still active when you apply in person.
