I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

If you applied before 08/15, you have to wait until next anniversary of your CSP.

My card is still saying $50 hotel credit in anniversary, as does all the paperwork despite me applying this week. Can anybody confirm the hotel credit is supposed to be right away from new card holders?
Maybe that's the $50 grocery credit they gave - that is no longer available - and now you get $50 hotel credit. Those that got $50 grocery credit, has to wait till next year.

What exactly does your paperwork say?
If you signed up online, this is what the Offer Details says:
$50 Annual Ultimate Rewards Hotel Credit: A statement credit will automatically be applied to your account when your card is used for hotel accommodation purchases made through the Ultimate Rewards program, up to an annual maximum accumulation of $50. Annual means the year beginning with your account open date through the first statement date after your account anniversary, and the 12 monthly billing cycles after that each year. Annually, the first $50 in Ultimate Rewards hotel purchases will not earn rewards points. Statement credit(s) will post to your account within two days after your purchase posts to your account and will appear on your monthly credit card billing statement within 1-2 billing cycles.
There is nothing here that says the hotel credit begins upon your 1-year anniversary date. Indeed, it says that annual max benefit of $50 begins with your account open date.
Furthermore, Chase announced that this benefit applies to new cardmembers effective August 16. Existing cardmembers will start this benefit after their next account anniversary. Reference: https://media.chase.com/news/chas...w-benefits
What is the rule? Do you have to keep the card for 2 years minimum to keep the bonus points.
The points should show up soon after you spend $4000. I got the card mid-June and last week 100k points showed up. BTW, it didn't reject me - they use Equifax and that's the only one I forgot to unfreeze before applying. Once I took care of that and called Chase, got the card in a week or so.
Sapphire 48-month rule prevents you from getting bonus points (or even get approved) if you had gotten Sapphire card bonus points in last 4 years. For example, I'd be eligible for Sapphire bonus points again in Sep 2025.
Ive been a freedom line user for as couple years so new to sapphire but I'm pre-qualified.
How do x2 x3 points work? I only understand % based points. What am I multiplying by? The % based on category?
Also how does the 50 annual credit compare to what the card offered pre August 16? I don't know what changed. Is this better or worse for new users?
Lastly, it says x10 anniversary points.. I'm guessing this will go into effect after 1 year of using the card and paying the $95 fee? how much and how long would this be active for and for which purchases? TIA

1x points = 1% = a point earned for every dollar spent
2x = 2%
3x = 3%

Before July 17th, the sign-up offer included a $50 grocery credit.
Between July 17 and August 16, there was no $50 credit for anything.
After August 16, the sign-up offer includes a $50 hotel credit.

The offer states: "Receive 10% of your annual spend in rewards points each account anniversary year."
If you earned 5000 points during the year (anniversary year, not calendar year), you'll get an additional 500 points added to you UR account at the end of the year.
How long? Indefinitely, until Chase changes the terms and conditions.
For which purchases? All your eligible purchases.
Note: The 10% of annual spend does not include the 100K sign-up bonus points.
I don't remember when the Reserve 100k promo first came out, I did that card back then but then lowered it to the non annual fee a year later. How can I find out if I'm eligible? Probably not, but I should check.

Yep, everything I'm seeing says that which is why I waited to get the card on 8/16. Yet everything on my account indicates next anniversary still.

My wife applied for the deal under 48 months ago, do you know if it will work if I apply and we are in the same household?
