I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

My email confirmation says "Your phone meeting is set, let's add it to your calendar!" Topic is apply for credit card. From this, it seems like apply over the phone (setup through the app) is a valid approach. I guess I'll find out tomorrow and update.
Sure enough, I couldn't sign up over the phone. I was thinking I could since I already had an account with them. But it makes sense to ensure no fraudulent signups.
I was out of there in under 15 minutes! The guy also marked my (yet to be shipped) card as damaged and waived the $34 expedite fee. He says I'll get it in 2-3 days.
Does anyone knows how to generate your own refer a friend link? Or where to find it? I checked under my account but there isn't one ready for you to copy and share it.

Applied in branch this morning. Took little more than 10 minutes. They also expedite the shipping for the card. But I was told that there is $50 grocery credit as well. Not sure how to check though!

You can check by purchasing any item from a grocery store (the $50 credit need not be redeemed in one purchase, it can be redeemed over multiple purchases), after receiving your new card.
When the item posts on your account, you will immediately receive the credit up to $50. The credit will be posted on your account on the very next line down on your Activity list. You need not wait until the statement is generated to receive the credit.
I'm 99% certain that you will not be credited. The grocery credit is no longer being offered.
Note: If you read through the 4,000 posts in this discussion thread - as I have - you will find many other cases where the Chase banking staff made erroneous statements or simply didn't know the answers to simple questions (answers that were publicly available reqarding Chase policy matters).
Using this fund my Disney trip sometime next year. Will buying the Disney gift cards now to pay for the trip count towards the 4k spend requirement? I'm planning on spreading the purchases to avoid any trouble.

No problem. Retailer gift cards (Amazon, McDonald's, Home Depot, etc., including Disney) are considered to be qualified purchases.
Are you sure you had it 3 years ago but not longer than that? Were you just an authorized user when you had the card? You can call Chase anytime regarding your eligibility.

Yeah... I closed csp in mid 2018. I can call them but I thought since it is auto approved offer in my chase account, can I just apply it.
I am sorry. I misread your post. The eligibility is actually based on the last Sapphire card bonus you received, not your account closing date. If your last bonus was received more than 48 months ago, then you are eligible.
Sign up a free account on CreditKarma[creditkarma.com] if you haven't done so. You can access your Equifax and Transunion credit reports there. Check either one for the account opening date of your last CSP, then add 4 months to the account opening date. If today's date is 48 months more than that, you are eligible for a new Sapphire bonus.
