I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Hi, More of a side question. I am at 3 yr 6 months from last CSR bonus, so won't be eligible for this bonus. Any recommendation for other cards? I have ~$3-4k expenses coming up in a couple of weeks. TIA!

Just got the card in a branch 30 mins ago. Physical card will arrive in couple of business days. It shows up in my account but when I go to chase refer-a-friend website and enter the card info it says "there is no offer, try again". I searched the thread but couldn't find, does anyone how long does it take for the referrals to start working?
After getting approved, I'm not seeing the offer tracking in the rewards section of my account. I see that normally on all offers. Anyone else in the same boat?

Approved today. I see the card on my dashboard and it says 0 of 4000 spent.
Hi, Thanks for suggesting this. Looks like a good option.
I almost forgot to mention. Do you think, my unemployed spouse can apply for CSP based off my income in branch/online? My spouse is an authorized user on one of my other Chase cards and has a good credit history. Hoping that we can merge household points.

Got the bouns back in July.. It seems this card doesn't have much benefits except sign on bouns.
Can i cancal it not or downgrade.
The 1st year fee was wavied due to me applying in branch. I only got 80000 sign on and do not want to use this card.
Best options cancel, or keep till next year or downgrade?
The best approach is to downgrade/product change to another no-fee card. You will retain both the account history and the credit limit with which your credit score will have no adverse impact. Closing the card will shorten your average age of credit and affects your overall credit utilization. But this is only general speaking. If you have a long credit history with numerous credit cards, closing your newest credit card account will have little impact to your overall credit.
If you must close the account, do it after your first anniversary. In general, you will get a full refund of the annual fee when you close/downgrade the account within 30 days of the fee posted.
Edit: I forgot to say you are not allowed to downgrade/product change in the first year.

People should definitely not cancel their card immediately after the incentive ends. [cnbc.com]
