I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I recently opened a credit card at the beginning of august. But that only used 1 of the 5/24 so if I applied for this card it's be the second one in 24 months. I'm concern that I'll get denied in branch if I went to apply. Do any of you think this would factor as a reason for me to get rejected?
I just got approved a few days ago and applied for a Wyndham card about 5-6 weeks prior.
Your recent new account would be less likely the reason of getting rejected from Chase. Capital One is extremely sensitive to recent hard inquiries and account openings, while Chase is not. It is worth noting, however, there's also the Chase 30 day rule (2/30 rule), which means you'll get auto denial if you have opened more than 2 credit card accounts in the past 30 days.

I made so much money with this card already. I even transfered my other chase points here so I could use the pay yourself back point thing for the extra 25 percent on points. Really awesome.
Since you already have the Unlimited, it'd be better to product change your CSR to Freedom Flex which has 5% back on quarterly rotating categories. If you want the $200 sign-up bonus for the Flex in future, then downgrading the CSR to another Unlimited is doable. Chase allows customers to have more than one Freedom Unlimited. For detailed steps before signing up CSP, see below post.
Applied yesterday in branch, took about 10 min. Have 712 credit score, annual income over $125,000. Have capital one venture with $30,000 and Utilization under 11%. Was denied but no reason why but was told to call reconsideration line. I did immediately and they denied bc of a bankruptcy 9 years ago. Asked a couple follow questions and Got approved for $5000. 1st AF fee waiver honored as well. If I downgrade to freedom flex before year is up to not pay annual fee, i assume I can still transfer my available points before downgrading or will it automatically transfer all points to flex card?
Got approved today over the phone but didn't apply in branch, any ideas to get first AF waived?
I have applied yesterday in the branch and they waived 1st year annual fee. Was approved for $19.5k credit with 770 credit score. Waiting for the card to be shipped by them. Try calling again the customer care and consider them to waive the fee. Good luck!
1. You won't be allowed to have a product change of your CSP before reaching the first anniversary. You can only do it after a year. In general you will get a full refund of the annual fee within 30 days after the fee is posted when you downgrade/product change/cancel the card after a year. You can certainly cancel the card during the first year but think twice before doing it.
2. If you product change/download to a card which is within the Ultimate Rewards family, the new account will retain the reward points from the old account.

Which carrier delivered it?
Thanks for that as I had obviously missed it. This thread is huge!
Kinda feel better to know I didn't just miss the $50 grocery credit offer by a few days. 😄
