I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Update:
I got approved online for CSR today, approximately 22 hours after getting CSP approved at the branch. As I was pre-approved, I just had to login to my chase account and enter my income. Both cards show up in my chase account online now. Didn't call recon line as my total credit limit for all chase accounts (before CSR) was about 25% only. All I need to do now is start thinking about spending my hard earned money to get the bonus points

i got approved for CSP at the bank today morning. $95 first year fee waived automatically. the lady was very nice and every thing was quick. i requested for a quick shipping and she was able to get 1 to 2 day shipping. by default it was a 3 to 5 day shipping. there wasn't much crowd at the bank but setting up an appointment was helpful.
this is the first time i'm getting a chase sapphire card. i've read somewhere it is possible to apply for CSR also on the same day and there is a chance that also can get approved. is that possible? has anyone tried that recently? i am already pre-approved for both CSP and CSR. thank you.
Still $1250 as long as it's cash back against PYB category charges until end of September.
$1,300: 100,000 points from the sign-up bonus. 400 points from your $4,000 purchases. 100,400 total points. Convert to $1,040 dollars x 1.25 pay-yourself-back bonus = $1,300. Just make sure you have $1,300 of purchases in the 25% categories. I've already completed the bonus and cashed out - got $1,300 in Pay-Yourself-Back cash.

I recall seeing something about this before. To clarify, if I use PYB towards a purchase, then that purchase won't apply towards my $4k spend, right?
There is no grocery credit anymore.

Got the answer.

It's hotel credit not grocery credit.
Correct, I also got hotel credit. I think the grocery credit in branch has now been removed.
I had two other chase cards with a $19,000 limit on each. They took $8500 from those limits, combined it then gave it to the sapphire one
