I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

"Prequalified" means you have been screened with your profile data. "All credit cards" is just a list of credit cards for everyone. If you don't see CSP as prequalified or preapproved, then you might not be eligible to apply for CSP as of yet, probably due to your old Sapphire account record still being stuck on Chase system.
Data point: I downgraded my CSR (received bonus on Feb 2017) to Freedom on 09/02/21, saw CSP after logged in my chase account. Applied 09/08/21, immediately denied.
My credit score ~820, did not apply any credit cards since Jan 2017.

Can you call or visit a branch to find out why denied?
Being an Authorized User on someone else's account does not count as having a Sapphire account. However, being an Authorized User does count toward the "5", under the 5/24 rule.
For more about eligibility, see below post from another member.
Just wondering what triggered you to sign up so soon? Most likely you are denied due to the old Sapphire account still showing on Chase system. By the way, it is a high chance Recon will not see your app tomorrow.

With respect to being an AU , I don't think the date you are added matters, if the primary opened account >24 months ago but added you within the past 24 months, it won't count - I think credit report shows date card opened by primary

Apply again after few more days, or no chance at all?
That is fine, at least I can call chase to upgrade freedom back to CSR if reconsideration won't work for me.
Thanks!
It does matter, at least to AMEX accounts. Years ago I piggybacked my spouse to build her credit by adding her as AU of my 20 years old AMEX account. She got a complete different card number and the account opening date is the actual date when her account was opened. I am not sure about other issuers though, especially when the AU account number is the same as the primary. My son is an AU of my Chase card and his card number is same as mine. I can't check his credit report to confirm coz he is under 16.

Chill. It wouldn't be no chance at all. Wait 2 days before calling the Recon line. They'll tell you the reason why you are rejected. Sometimes the issue is easy to rectify like moving credit line from one account to the new CSP. If the reason is indeed the old Sapphire account still being stuck on the system, tell them you no longer have the account. Sometimes they can override it, and sometimes they'll tell you to wait a bit longer before applying again. I have the below link explaining why to wait 2 days.

I checked two credit monitoring services. One that shows alerts all new accounts does not list the AU (Capital One) and the other lists as 7 years old. I am not sure if I was added in past 24 mo or longer
Anyway its 2 vs 3, not 4 vs 5 so if it counts it should not disqualify
I'm kind of sad I have to get rid of CSR early but for the SUB its worth it and I still have AMEX Plat for lounge access for another few months until that one's increased AF is due The decision will be tougher if Chase offers me a $100 credit to offset their fee increase but I think I will still try the CSP
If you really fall in love with the CSR, you may try to convert your no-fee card to CSR in a later day. Another member reported that he had called to upgrade his Freedom card to CSR while having CSP simultaneously.
A senior member here was even kind enough to contact Chase to find out more details about the possibility of holding two Sapphire cards simultaneously.

If I have bad credit, can I put down $20,000 or something and let the credit card companies hold it for a month or a year so I can get good points/rewards somehow? Or do you recommend some sort of stock options that give frequent flyer miles?
