I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Why would you lease a car? What a waste of money. The only leases that make sense are the ones where you can qualify for ev credit. Then the car is less than a hundred a month for three years. But you have to give it back or else it will cost you way more.
I think his point is since he has a big spend requirement, he could apply for the card to use on that spend. Not everyone can spend 4k in three months with everyday spending. Although anyone who leases typically isn't a low spender.
Exactly this. I probably spend 4k in a year, there is no way I can hit that in three months. Also, leases are pretty cheap. I am paying $340 for a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4k down. 3 year contract.

I dont think they are a waste of money. Also, my motorcycle had gotten totaled in 2018. I had(still do) PTSD from the accident so I decided to lease a car for the time being meanwhile I figure out whether I was going to give up riding or not. Honestly, leasing has been such a great experience. I remember the bucket I had in my teens would cause me all sorts of issues and required me to put in thousands to fix. This is why I didnt want a car, the price of maintenance. Leasing has taken this fear away as I can have a brand new car pretty much forever. Eventually I will end up buying a car but for right now, I am good with leasing.
I need to spend 8.5k tomorrow on an eBay purchase. I have a chase flex and chase unlimited card that I use for my normal purchases. I have no doubt I will get instant approval, but can I instantly use the card?
Also, How long until the points hit my account?
My goal would be to use all the points towards the balance, pay it off, and then just cancel the card. Is this doable?

yeah if you dont care about ur credit score. it takes like 3 days to be able to use it digitally like paypal and apple pay, other than that you have to wait till ur card comes.
Can someone explain how to get cash back to $1250 instead of $1000 please. It says only for travel, is that true? Detailed steps maybe please. New to Chase cc's
I had downgraded my CSR to Freedom Flex on 9/1, scheduled an appointment in-branch for the CSP today 9/14. Branch called me before my appointment saying I was already pre-approved so she would prep some initial application documents before I arrive. Think I'm good to go!

So is buying one.
$50 Hotel Credit if for everyone (existing gets it anniversary)
(please correct me if I am wrong)
I am pretty sure only difference between online and branch is the referral bonus vs the waived annual fee
Not sure where you get $800
I agree with thisā¦I just went into a branch today and got approved for the CSPā¦I got the AF waived, but the grocery credit doesn't exist anymore.

I also already have the Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Flex, and Amazon.
Is it possible for me to downgrade my CSR to any of their other no fee cards in order to take advantage of this offer?
It looks like the other no fee cards would include Slate Edge, Disney Visa, United Gateway, and Marriott Bonvoy Bold.

Thank you! I did see that thread earlier but missed the original OP post all the way at the bottom that describes a similar situation to mine.
Really interesting that you can have more than 1 of the exact same Freedom card.
