I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

This is the best way to do it, and beats even getting the AF waived as some have done in-person with a banker.
Not aware that referral bonus is linked to referred person meeting the $4k spend requirement... which they should do anyways since then there is no signup bonus...
But when you go in Branch are they still waiving AF and giving$50 on groceries?
I ain't credit analyst, lolz. If you think everything is not an issue to you, it's worth a try. As another senior member stated earlier, it is all about the risk-reward of a hard inquiry vs. 100K points.

Hey Tazmania99, Hijacking this to see if I will be able to get this when I have Chase FF got it within last 12 months and Credit Age is slightly above 2years. I think Credit score and income should not be an issue.
Went to branch today for applying to cc. They couldn't do mine due to "technical issues" they were facing. Chase branch banking sucks.. the next closest branch is 90 minutes drive one way…

You might try calling your local branch and see if they can put a note in your account verifying that you attempted to apply in branch but that the bank couldn't process the application due to technical issues.
Note: While they implied that their annual fee would be waived, there was no confirmation about whether the annual fees were actually waived. (No proof that it worked.)
Different topic here. For the savvy SDers here travelling around the US and booking at chain hotels like La Quinta, Red Lion, Comfort Suites and the like, besides reading reviews online, how can you tell if the hotel you picked is decent? Booked a LA Quinta in Fargo North Dakota and another in Omaha Nebraska and both were completely the opposite. The latter was filthy, hairs on the bedding and rundown that I have to find a different hotel to stay that night. Red Lion Inn in Polson Montana was awesome, new and clean etc while the one in Cheyenne Wyoming is an older building and dirty. The thing that I see is front desk staff that wear uniforms are clean hotels. The ones that don't wear uniforms are the problem hotels. Any tips?
I have $1k in purchases that are pending on the card which will put me over the $4k, it's not yet posted. But my last day to hit the $4k mark is tomorrow, does this $1k need to be posted by tomorrow for it to count or it doesn't matter since the transactions were done before tomorrow?
Only settled and final transactions count towards the $4K spending threshold. However, Chase unofficially has been giving customers a bit longer than 90 days[doctorofcredit.com]. I think you are good.

Chase has never made any official announcement about the end date. They increased the offer to 100K points in early June, and credit card welcome offers typically last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months until the budget of the promotion runs out, so it is best to act sooner if you're interested in this deal.

Any idea how long this offer will last? Will it be around for a couple of months?
This offer is not a targeted offer. It is open to anyone who is interested. So no coupon is required to apply. It is ashamed that the banker is not aware of such a promotion that has been running for months.

I called the branch and they are asking for a coupon code to open at the branch. Anyone else had this issue?

That's sort of a relief, will still contact CS to get some paper trail going in case it's not automatically awarded.

Is this redeeming for gift cards or cash? Like can I redeem for 1250 worth of Amazon GC?

There are at least two people that did this and then subsequently signed up for cards online.

Like... What kind of transactions do you have pending? You have not charged it to the card yet?
