I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I'm about to break down and close the OG CSR for this deal. Renewal coming in Dec.
I think I might be able to squeeze another 20k pts off referral from wife's CSP link. How many days must I wait to apply again should I close CSR today?

Able to apply online on Tuesday and got the card expedited. Received the card today.
Chase routinely expedites upon request. When did you close your CSR?
I still have my CSR. This was for my son who doesn't have any chase cards yet. He received instant approval online - called the rep and had the card expedited.
I see. I think it's next day; wish the mobile app had a search tool as this has no doubt come up before. Anyone who closed CSR who was approved for CSP with bonus can chime in?
If you plan to close your CSR account to try and benefit from the CSP bonus…. Make sure you remember to pay the account down to zero or it will remain open and will show up as still having a sapphire product. And you will be denied.
I closed my CSR account over 40 days ago, but I forgot to pay the full balance, so it remained open apparently. Wonder if it is 30 days from bringing the account to zero or 30 days from the cancellation phone call assuming you brought the account to zero also? This deal will probably end before all this occurs for me😕

DO NOT CLOSE YOUR RESERVE ACCOUNT! It will take 30 days for the CSR account to clear before you can apply for the CSP.
Instead, do a product change (downgrade) to a Freedom or Slate account. Doesn't matter if you already have a Freedom account, you are permitted to have multiple Freedom accounts. One SDer reported having five Freedom accounts.

You may want to try applying anyway. See my previous post.
My only problem is that I have already applied 3 times.😬. That seems like that would be a negative for me to get approved… not sure
Other SD members are fairly certain that you have up to 30 days following your application to file for reconsideration. Since, you have already applied then the offer should be locked in for you.
Personally, I am less sure of the process. In the back of my mind, I am concerned with whether the reconsideration might somehow treat the two situations differently: Chase's rejection of the application due qualification issues versus Chase's non-acceptance of the application due to eligibility criteria. (I'm probably overthinking this.)
I've always just used the Reconsideration Line (888) 270-2127.
BTW, when the agent said that there was no way that they could expedite the card, he meant that there was no way that he could expedite the card. That refrain has been heard before, so it is probably true that not all agents have access to expediting the card.
However, both the number that Taz has provided and the number that I gave have had good success. If at first you don't succeed, try try again.

Meanwhile, it's been suggested that you apply for the new CSP as soon as possible to lock in the bonus offer and rely on Chase's reconsideration process (credit Tazmania99):

How did you manage to expedite? I call them an hour ago and they said mo way they can expedite it ☹️

Yes, I meant expedited delivery of the card. I was approved instantly.
