I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

This worked! Signed up in- branch for 80,000, AF waived, and $50 grocery. The extra 20,000 showed up as "Other bonus and rewards activity."

Received my CSP card last week in the mail, activated right away, and spent more than the required 4000 the next 2 days.
How quickly did the 100000 bonus points show up in your account after you reached the 4000 spending? Were they reflected in the next statement for the then current billing cycle? Or did it take another billing cycle, 2 statements later?
I seem to recall reading the CSP terms saying will take 6 to 8 weeks. Some comments make it sound like sooner?
Want to transfer some of the 100000 points to a hotel rewards account to book for mid December. Hope that's possible.
So can I downgraded my CSR, wait for 2days and then go to the brand and apply for CSP?
From comments that I have read it seems like only applying in branch would work. But not sure if the banker could see I am eligible for applying CSP if I just downgraded my CSR... ?
Most of the ppl who have downgraded CSR seem applied online but not in branch.
RIP my 100K referral link stopped working when I checked this morning. It was fun while it lasted.

For me it looks like the points will show up after the next statement is posted. So at least a month.
Can anyone let me know how does it take to receive the card after approval? I applied at the branch on 6th Oct and was told by the CSR on the 9th that it's already shipped and should receive by the 13th and so far nothing in the mailbox.
Should i wait for another 1-2 days as I need to make some payments by the 20th or should i call to expedite?

USPS has slowed down reg mail so give it a few more days
10/5 Family member got instant approval online
10/14 Got card by reg mail
10/5 Sent online message for expedited shipping after approval
10/6 They replied back and processed duplicate card
10/7 Shipped by UPS Next Day
10/8 Got card by UPS
Due to the extremely tenuous nature of the 100K offer, it has been suggested that you apply now to lock in the bonus offer and rely on the 30-day grace period for filing a reconsideration (credit Tazmania99): https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=150105637&postcount=5231

Standard shipping is 7-10 business days. Expedited shipping is 2 business days. You can do the math to see whether you should wait or make the request for expedited shipping.

The bonus will appear on the next statement (in your particular case, your first statement). Not sure how Chase figures out the timing of their statements. In my case, my application was approved on March 30, the first statement was generated on April 11.
It was part of the in-branch offer details when I signed up. And yes, the $50 grocery credit showed on first statement which included more than $50 in groceries.
Congratulations! You're the first person to report getting the grocery credit since the official expiration date of July 17th.

Thank you for sharing the data points about when you the 100000 bonus points appeared for your cases.
When are you guys cancelling the card to avoid the $95 annual fee? I read someone say 13 months (because the annual fee can be refunded within 30 days of being charged?) But I assume there's some strategy involved in making sure you get your points cashed out before you cancel by not making any purchases the month before cancelling?

You have a whole year or so to use/transfer the points before you run into the annual fee (again, if not waived). The strategies depend on how much value you can get out of them, IE transfer to Sapphire Reserve and then get 150% redemption value.
