I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

You should not have canceled. Cancellation takes 30 days to clear the old card from your history before you will be allowed to apply for the new Sapphire card.
I canceled CSR and waited 7 calendar days. I was able to apply for the 100k CSP offer and it worked (instant approval, IOW the computer knew it, not a human). Just a data point if you want it (I hadn't read your post when I canceled, or I might not have done it).
My 48 months is past as of 10/15/21 from my last reward, but the branch doesnt show me as eligible for this card. Anyone else run into this?a
There are three reasons why you may not be eligible for applying:
1. You received a Sapphire bonus award within the past 48 months. (That's the statement date that you last received the bonus, not the date of the purchase that put you over the minimum spending threshold.) Presumably, you're okay on this point.
2. You have been deemed ineligible due to Chase's 5/24 policy[thepointsguy.com].
3. You currently are holding some other Sapphire card account, whether that be a Reserve, Preferred or plain Sapphire account.
If you are certain that you are eligible, then I'd suggest trying to apply again. And, as a last resort, try signing in as guest (credit to Tazmania99).
After 7 days of product changing I was able to apply yesterday and approved. Hopefully I can add it to Apple pay soon while waiting for the expedited card.
I got the 80k and 20k as soon as the purchase putting me over the limit posted. Great offer. Now on to the next!
Are you saying when the charge that pushed balance due over $4000, you immediately saw the 100000 Ultimate Rewards points in your Chase account without having to wait for the billing cycle (that that charge was a part of) to end, @BalkiBartokomous?

ElvisIsNOTAlive,
There is a difference between when the bonus points are earned and when the bonus may be redeemed.
If you log into your Ultimate Rewards account, click on Dashboard, that will show points earned. The date points are earned will closely match the purchase date.
However, if you click on "See activity details", there is a note under "Current & Pending Activity". The note says, "Points available after xx/xx/2021". That date corresponds to your statement date for the current billing cycle.
So, yes, BalkiBartokomous earned the bonus almost immediately. But, no, the bonus won't be redeemable until after his statement date.

Absolutely correct. The $4000th dollar transaction showed the points as earned but I don't get them until the points post at the end of the cycle.
Had CSR got it before 48 months downgraded it, applied for CSP in 2 days got rejected. Waited couple for weeks, applied in bank today got it approved instantly. 100K offer is still active in banks not online.
Applied in a branch today. Had a CSR, downgraded to CFU nearly 3 weeks ago. Was not instantly approved in branch… system said it needed more time to review. Dunno.
