All modern iPhone cameras are strictly better than any GoPro camera unless you need niche shit like 360 degrees. Unless you're expecting the GoPro to take a beating, there's no reason not to just have a phone inside a waterproof housing such as AquaTech AxisGO which are legit underwater equipment: https://aquatech.net/collections/axisgo

With horizon leveling, hyper smooth, hindsight, time warp (different than timelapse which both have), light mod, and media mod there's just no comparison
