This popular clamp fan is now available for in store pickup. Seems to be available at some of the zip codes I checked. Just snagged 3 for some future trips.

I have two of the larger (10") fan. I bought them for $20/ea on Direct Tools when they had a sale. These clamp fans are just 4", so I imagine $20 is the regular price. They were popular last time around because of the novelty factor and because many sd-ers hadn't seen them yet, but it's hardly a deal. I can see that size seeming attractive under certain circumstances, but the battery is going to weigh these down regardless. If you need something to cool you down while watching your kids' games from a camp chair, which is basically the only legitimate use I see for these, then I personally think the bottle-top misting fans will work a lot better.

Darn! None avail in my area. I have the larger one but thought the smaller one would be a great addition I could use inside after working out in the heat. I'm a real "fan" of the Ryobi products. Get it? 😂

This is a brand new fan that was just added to the Ryobi line. It was just added to the Home Depot website now. Some Home Depots have had them for sale since they were announced a few weeks ago but they have been hard to find in stock. They look like they are extremely versatile and well designed.

Ryobi fans boys have been buying up all the stock.

I would have to respectfully disagree with everything you said, I have both fans, and in my opinion this 4" fan is soo much more than just a novelty item. When you're in tight spaces like under a sink or closet to just needing a personal fan for your stationary bike, the output and versatility is phenomenal for such a little fan, absolutely blows a standard water bottle fan away in regards to power. The battery gives it a nice weight and the clip has a very strong grip, highly recommended for $20, will give you a nice variety combined with your 10" fan.

I grabbed one of these when the first came out and its a pretty useful little fan. I go hunting with it, small enough to fit in a backpack with battery and not much lower CFM than the larger/bulkier fan.

The "bulkier" fan? Do you mean the P3220 Hybrid which has 2400 cfm, compared to this one with just 180 cfm ?

I think you are confusing RPM for CFM there buddy...

2400 CFM and you could build your own DIY prop - plane.

Can't wait to slap a 9ah HP battery in this sucker and clamp it to my wife's chair. I guarantee she'll spend half the afternoon tipping over until she gets angry and starts chasing me around the yard.

Yeah I have all 3 fans, they are all great and have their purpose. I know the big one moves some air but for the size the new clip on one is nice and compact and comes in very handy.
