I have this mouse. Sometimes it doesn't connect (like once a month), but can be fixed with a on and off switch. Grip has deteriorated along the thumb rest. Synapse software sometimes doesn't detect the mouse, but it still works. This is annoying if I want to change settings. I have to disable the mouse and enable it again in hardware manager.

The LED to indicate battery percentage is cool, and with the LED off on the mouse I get a pretty long battery life.

It's nice to have my mouse be wireless, but the build quality on that thumb grip after a few months of usage is disappointing. If the g502 wireless was cheaper I'd go with to that, feels cheap compared to the 502. But at $100, this is hard to beat.

I upgraded to this mouse on the last $100 slick deal that was posted. great mouse that is extremely fast and ergonomic. My only gripe is even with LED on low power you can only really bank on 8, maybe 10 hours of battery life before it has to be charged or its going to die on you. I had the mouse that was under this one and the battery life was much less so 10 hours is a pretty good haul overall. I defiantly recommend this mouse for the mapping options on the buttons, makes online play so much faster having all of your hot keys bind to the mouse.

I paid $115 for the mouse and generally like it. EXCEPT the wireless has this weird problem where after it has been idle for 10+ minutes and I wake it it only works in the current open window. I have to hit crtl+alt+del to open task manager and it works fine after. Dealing with razer support to fix this issue. In the meantime just using it wired. Buyer beware, besides that I love the mouse. I had a Razer Lancehead wireless prior which I loved and gave me no problems.

You know what that's on my bucket list. I've been using two Roccat wired mouse prior to this for years, that mouse definitely interests me a lot
I have the Roccat Aimo 200 wireless, the scroll stopped 9 months of usage. They actually shipped me a new one within the week on warranty and the new one has same issue now almost 9 months after I got it lol. Not sure if that helps your decision but I did read the Kone Pro is better.

I have this mouse, the black widow v3 pro keyboard, tartarus pro, and goliath mouse pad all synced with pretty light shows through Synapse.

I just wanted to brag for a second because that's all it's good for. The mouse disconnects randomly EVERY. FREAKING. DAY.

I ended up wiring a micro usb cable to it full time because the battery drains so bad on 100% LED. Still not replacing it, because having them all sync together with LED profiles is satisfying for my ego. If you wanna dump the money for a cool looking setup go for it, otherwise there are more reliable peripherals out there for the price or even less.

Give the Roccat Kone Pro Wireless a shot, I'm now using it over this. I wish it had a charging dock but it's the best mouse i've ever used. INCREDIBLY light, 52+ hours of charge time, connection is flawless, great for big or medium hands.
This is one of the mice I'm looking at if my Razer Viper Ultimate dies outside of warranty (it's 1.5 years old). The Basilisk is one of the comfiest mice I've ever used but I think the extra weight and bulk might be a bit of a weird transition for gaming since the huge trend is towards superlight mice and I'm used to the lesser weight now. The dock would be missed though. I didn't realize how nice the dock would be until I started using it. I never plug in my Viper, just drop on the dock when I'm away so it's always got a long charge. I'm surprised more companies haven't made their own dock.

With RGB this has a very short battery life. Without it, it's decent but why did you pay more money for RGB to not use it?

Also if you're switching from Logitech G502, you'll miss the hyper scroll wheel way too much. IMO, they should've went with the charging mouse pad like Logitech so you can actually leave the RGB and have practically infinite battery life. Maybe even have options like using either methods to charge.

Not sure if others felt this but if you're scrolling through the wheel very fast, the left and right clicks on the wheel is easy to accidentally register.

Have you looked into your power settings for windows? Make sure your usb ports aren't being turned off to save power.

Had this mouse for about a week and decided to go with a Logitech g604 instead. Fits well in my hand and honestly an AA battery lasts way longer than the typical charger mouse (1-2 months with 8 to 14 hours use). Infinity scroll was too hard to pass up.

Nope, your shit always breaks, razer. Maybe if logitech didn't exist.

If you're looking for a comfortable gaming mouse I'll prefer it, it looks like a pacman frog, such design makes it more comfortable.

Is the basilisk v2 the same exact spec either the obvious exception of being wired?

I have this mouse. Beware that Razer does not sell a replacement dongle for this product line if you lose yours. No, the ones sold on their site DO NOT work with the Basilisk/Hyperspeed mice.

Otherwise, it's a great mouse.

I personally would avoid razer products like the plague. Look up all the problems razer products have. I had two razer products and they barely lasted a year or two and support is terrible. Not sure if they fixed all those issues but I wouldn't risk it
I have a mechanical keyboard and couldn't go without it! It's amazing and my keyboards I switch out every few years so never noticed a failure. I'll every 6 months or so take each key off and clean. They pop right on and off, with a few having bars.

As for this mouse, I want wireless, but with lightweight cords, why not always have RGB and no battery/interference ever.

So I've had the Logitech g502 hero for a couple months and while I like it, I was thinking about getting a wireless mouse, mainly that I don't want to deal with a wire and the mouse is a bit heavy (and the light speed version of the g502 is a bit expensive) . Is this lighter? I was thinking about getting the viper but this mouse looks more comfortable

I have this mouse. Bought used from Amazon warehouse for same price. So I think this is a great price for new. I've only used it for 3 months but in that time, it's been great. But I was coming from a Basilisk V1 wired mouse. It's the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. Bought it mostly because all my stuff is Razer RGB and wanted wireless.

Yeah I have Razer keyboard, mouse pad, headphone and this all sync up with the synapse software. Sh!t looks dope AF! I keep the RGB at 30% which is still plenty bright and battery lasts 3 days. With no lights, can last 5 full work days. (if not charged in between). In between when you're on a break or lunch or after you're done, just pop it onto the charger stand and you should never run out of battery.

Only thing I don't like is no infinite scroll like logi.

I can't agree more. I recently got the nari headphones and returned them. Switched to Logitech pro x wireless. Great switch
