Just found this deal at Sam's Club. Nice pet bed that's a good size for my 20lb terrier mix or my 2 cuddly cats.

If that picture is of your dog, he or she is adorable!
If all else fails, buying a used (or new) crib mattress is a great alternative to a traditional dog bed. It can cost about the same depending on what you want. You also get the added bonus of being able to add water proof zip covers and ANY crib mattress fitted sheets to it that you want which makes it extremely easy to clean and super cheap to change out colors and styles as crib sheets are very inexpensive.
Hopefully it comes in a box. My cat would sleep in that more than the bed

I have this for my Bassett hound, it's a really good bed (it's the larger one I have ). Easy to clean, it unzips and the foam bed (egg crate looking) comes out and you throw the bed in the washing machine. It's also very comfortable as my 2 year old also likes to go in it (cringe)

I have done this for years. I have a disable pup so easy wipe down for any leaks. Also, it doesn't wear down or flatten out as easily as dog beds so it lasts for quite a while. It's great support under their aging joints and bones. And it's size is a huge plus. It can fit a few smaller pups. Or fit a large dog... without flattening out.

Dang it. No love for the big pups on this got me doing a search for dog beds. Within two minutes, I've managed to rabbit hole to the point of seriously considering a $160 dog couch... Thanks, slickdeals
EDIT:
I did just manage to find this little nugget:

Sill a little too small for my dog but a pretty good middle ground to cover a lot of breeds at 60lbs
Yeah...it's rare to find deals on Big Dog stuff...my two 100+ lbs pups need new beds...but...evidently folks don't need comfort for the larger breeds...

No store pick-up and having to pay shipping baffles me for these deals. Especially when already paying 50 bucks a month for the regular membership!

They're the same price in store. I question the size because they looked a lot smaller in store.

$50 for Sam's membership a month? That's like Amex platinum card fees.

Friend has a plus membership so I grabbed a few for the little dogs as their current beds are getting old, now I'll just use those for a day when I wash these newer ones.
I cover all their little beds with big pillow cases and switch the pillow cases 2 or 3 times a week and spray the bed with a antibacterial/deodorizer. Makes for easy washing of the "cover" and only have to wash the actual beds every 2 or 3 weeks vs weekly. Helps the beds last longer and the dogs get a fresh pillow case cover every other day or so.

I don't get why this has so many thumb downs. Isn't that what most cats would do?

Not mine, they like sitting in and checking out new boxes but they lose interest in them within a day or two.
I have a couple of pet beds similar to these by Halo and those beds my cats use the most, especially in the winter when I put in the pet warming pads.

I have a ~90 lb GSD. Shopping for a reasonably priced bed became tiresome. I just ended up buying an inexpensive Twin Sized bed foam mattress. Then I cut it in half and stacked the two halves. Then I wrapped it in an old blanket I never used any more. He loves it and it's very comfy for him. Was much cheaper than a specifically made dog bed of equal size and thickness. Icing on the cake if you or you know someone who can sew the sides of your blanket together to make like a large slip on case for it. Wrapping it up seems to do the trick enough though and you can just unwrap it and throw it in the wash.
