Can you use them, inside the box? Only reason to buy these, is collectors items. So many places you can buy amiibo tags.

Not anymore, they added blocking tags to the packaging, so people dont just scan them in store and put them back on the shelf

Shows in stock at my local store but I'm unable to check out with credit card or PayPal. When I try with CC the checkout button remains grayed out - with PayPal I'm able to click the checkout button but a message comes up stating there was a connection error likely due to high volume - try again later.

these were never rare and were in stock for a long time after release and refreshed a couple of times. so I wouldn't rush to get this for " collectible " value. but good price for a cute amiibo.
edit: just checked and surprisingly 3rd-party " asking price " is $18+. thats not high but I can see where it makes this deal more appealing.

Now if you have a " Big Yarn Yoshi " that's another story. $300+!
i actually got one of those by being in the right store at the right time (luck). that was when they came out. not sold again after the initial limited run.

I still see the yarn Yoshis in big box stores occasionally. They're super cute and are good plush toys too. I've only used them a handful of times in Smash or Wooly World.

And as said above, there's an RFID blocker in the box so you can't load them in-game without removing them from the box.

Sadly no, because the deal of the day stuff are considered a promotion as is the rewards points.

My suggestion for reward points are buying gift cards with them, for Nintendo store, ps store, xbox market place.

Or find something cheap in store and get that. Got Mario Uno card game for 2 bucks
