Smith are great sunglasses and those are great prices but wow I don't like those ones.

Any suggestions for someone with a smaller head?
Yes - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

By far my favorite cheaper glasses for a smaller head. I have bought many pairs (mainly because I keep losing them).

Bolle is a very comfortable brand. I have several. However, after a couple of years the lens film has started to peel at the edges. It's not the polarization. 2 year warranty but have to pay shipping (ugh). Anyway, at $32 it's still a slick deal.

Tried checking on Smith Optics site if Eyedictive is an authorized reseller but couldn't find anything...can anyone confirm/point me to where one could confirm if they're authorized please?
Quote from josephgoff :
Trust me, my head is a good size and the Bolle's work for me. No guarantee they will fit you, but I would say my head is above average in size as most sunglasses don't fit. These work great for me.

They are grey market so if you are looking to have warranties and such that may be a bit of a struggle; but they are priced as such.

Eyedictive is the real deal, they just liquidate styles and such.
I got Bolle sport sunglasses about 2 months back when it was a Hot deal on Slickdeals. Eyedictive is a sham company. The Bolle sunglasses are Not polarized as advertised. The lens is also not clear. I did not use them for the first few weeks as I was planning to use during sports and I rarely get out in the peak pollen season. I now know how much to trust slickdeals and the reviews here. The hazy lens was not the best wearing in the sun and spotting the ball. I then decided to wear it on my drive back home and found they were not even polarized as advertised.

If there are people here from India or China they would know that these are perhaps the same quality and make as the $5-$10 "branded" sunglasses that you get on the streets in those countries.

Except that's not true, and your one experience does not trump the experiences of others.

Return the glasses if you have a problem with them.

Many of the glasses they sell are just branded generics, but generally are at least mid-quality and definitely higher quality than the stuff you buy on the streets as there is no QC for glasses like that. That's not on eyedictive, that's on the brands for whoring themselves out.

I would understand if the glasses had a loose screw or missing nose piece or crooked arm. I would attribute that to quality control. When the lens isn't polarized as advertised then it's not quality control... It's a plain lie.

I wasn't able to return it because I didn't check them until the sports season started. And besides they charge the customer for return shipping. No wonder there is at least a deal from Eyedictive on Slickdeals ever single week. It's a paid sham just like any other Chinese company deals that we see.

Except that's not at all what they are. Anecdotal evidence is poor evidence, though I understand your frustration as I've had bad experiences as well during my lifetime. I'd reach out to them still; if you don't that's on you.

And yes, that's the very definition of quality control; a mistake was made somewhere, likely on Bolle's side.

I have bought 6 pairs of glasses from them with half of them being top-tier name brands and all of them have been 100% legit, but that's my own anecdotal evidence.

Sounds like you may have received a mispacked pair. To check if the sunglasses are polarized, simply rotate them 60 degrees in front of a computer display or mobile device, if they are polarized the lenses will become darker. If they are not polarized, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance with setting up a free return for a replacement or refund.

Any idea where to have the lenses replaced with prescription?
Check with Costco- they'll probably be the cheapest if they're able to do it.

They sell fakes. No address, no retail outlet. Big brands only sell to companies with physical location

10 seconds of internet sleuthing kills everything you said. They don't sell fakes, Mendel Brod is their CEO, they're based out of Miami FL, Bayview Eyewear is one of their subsidiaries. Setup a return and you get an address.
