lol they finally approved me but gave me a $500 credit limit....

I have a high 700s credit score, a citi checking account and a Citi doublecash with a $9000 credit limit. something doesnt make sense...

Applied yesterday and got the "application pending for further review" mag, thought i was going to be declined even tho i have 820+ fico but i just checked my application status today and it says approved for 7.5k.

I signed up through this through Credit Karma for the $300/$1000 offer, and I got a temporary CVV/expiration date for immediate use, FYI. This might be a good card for somebody to sign up for and use rak u ten cash back for some good deals this weekend (also if you do a referral with rak u ten, both referrer and referree get additional $40).

How did you get temporary cvv/exp date for immediate use ?
I just got a confirmation email from citi nothing else.

Yeah coz i was approved the next day.
Anyways i called them and got transferred to three people before being told that i will have to wait for the actual card to arrive.
I singed up using karma link so i just hope they give me 300/1000 promo coz i can already tell how bad the customer service is.

A lot of other credit cards and/or high credit utilization with them (over 30%) may cause this.
