Out of curiosity, what have you used a tool like this for? Looks to be a bit too big for what I imagine a hobby Dremel would be used for.

Think of it as a Dremel on steroids. Often used by mechanics, body shops, welders, metal fabricators, etc, to cut, grind, shape, clean, and polish metal - though I often use one on fiberglass too.

The right angle design is often preferrable for things like grinding off paint/slag or for getting into spaces that a straight one won't fit.

if you do not need the battery, you can add the following into your cart separately
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../203806660

and

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../310152871

you can own the grinder for $131.33 if you choose to return (or cancel the online order, classic hack way) the battery.

Makes sense. Thanks!

Perfect explanation.

to add:
straight ones are good wood carving tools (dremel on steroids part)

It's a very very useful tool when you need it.

Mostly an accessory to welding. I use 3m roloc attachments to clean milscale off mild steel and general cleanup of stainless prior to welding. A lot my welding is for biopharma application and this is one of the most useful accessory I have.

This is also a great tool for auto body work. Cleaning surface rust etc.

I really didn't think it would be such a useful tool.

The 2.0 Ah is one of the smaller and older Milwaukee battery sizes. Will this give a die grinder enough torque? Or would a 3-cell 3.0 Ah or 6-cell 6.0 Ah work better?

ps, price now shows as $169

For the hack did you use desktop, mobile browser or app? I followed your steps from desktop chrome and could only cancel the entire order.
