If they don't, I'm sure any shelter would love the donation.

That said, it's a rare cat that won't eat FF. It's like some sort of cat crack.

I went onto Chewy and signed up with a new email to get 30% off on top of the sale. Came up to be 41$ with tax for 10 cases (Had to order 10 to get free shipping). My cats bout to be fancy AF.

Hopefully your cat is not like mine. Mine snub most things fancier than friskies. Got them the $1+ a can stuff on 50% off at a store closing sale, most of it they won't touch despite being the "best of the best". Having said that, I think I'll try this on them.

If your cats don't like it, you can always take it to your local animal shelter. Win- win.

Wheat gluten? No, thanks!

The gluten-free craze isn't just for humans. Cats are on-board too. Gluten is often used as a substitute for high-quality protein sources in pet food. For the sake of saving money, many pet food manufacturers add cheap grain products like wheat gluten to your cat's food as filler. However, your cat's gut isn't setup to handle large quantities of grains. Rather, cats are obligate carnivores, which means they actually need meat to survive and it should be the primary ingredient in their diets ā€“ followed by fat, then carbohydrates. While some cats are able to stomach wheat gluten just fine, others can have an allergic reaction.

Ordered 4. These cans are only 65 cal so order with caution. The pate version is 95 cal, but of course it's twice the price. I've purchased pate many times for my cats they like it.
question my cat is obese vet said 190 cal he needs he 14lb... That sound right? So is it best to get high cal wet only and avoid low cal so he dont get bigger? Vet said can do 180 for start of diet so cal is king but if he needs more food to hit 180 cal that when they gain more weight?

Low calorie food is good as well, gets their bellies full and you may stretch the time between feedings. Seems low calories for 14 pounds. I feed my cat 400 cal a day, he is 18lb. If I try to get him down in weight, I will feed three grain free FF pate cans a day, roughly 100cal each and one 70-65cal can. That's a good trick to get them to lower weight point. Just try not to cheat with treats too much they add up and for the love of all holy do not feed dry food. Make sure there is a water fountain.

Yeah vet said 190 cal i thought it was 280 or so for 14lb. I think this vet is also trash like the last one. New vet gave 7 day onsior 2 days since last 3 day dose er vet had him on. Everywhere said 3 days max per cat and new vet got those records from last sat so no excuse to overdose my cat 7 days and he had bad side effects so i stopped. So he is only on prazosin and vet said start miralax even through he was pooing ok but little dry but since friday when he started it hardly any poo... So i doubt this vet is whacked cause 190c is low on 14lb. I cant find a legit goodd vet anymore... Plus he used to eat everything i throw at him not anymore 75% food wasted every day...
