I don't want to get into a Brand X is better than Brand Y war. I just want to say that these Sauconys are plated shoes. After a quick look, I don't see any Hoka plated shoes on sale. I want people to realize what we're comparing here.

If you use code FM9-OS1-JJR-569 at Saucony's website it gives you an additional 25% off. Just snagged the Speeds for $90. Makes the Pro $113 and the Shift $79.

Re: people asking about cushion, the Speed is a workout day or race day shoe, not really a cushioned daily trainer, and it excels in that capacity, probably the best workout shoe out there in my opinion. Lightweight, great foam, and my current pair are still pretty responsive after 175 miles, people online typically say they get at least 300–400, depending on their size/usage. Shift is comparable to a Hoka Clifton, and the Pro is like a lower-stack Vaporfly.

Can purchase for even less if purchasing through Saucony website and combine with promo codes mentioned in other threads or ID.me and cashback websites.

You have to be careful ordering from Saucony. I had a promo code so I bought a pair of Triumphs at full price but then they charged shipping so that negated the discount. RunningWarehouse has free shipping and no taxes (for my location) and gives you a return shipping label in the box in case you're not happy with the shoes. Of course, you shouldn't expect a full refund if you return them if run 100 miles in them. Refund of the money isn't super fast but they do give you your money back.

PS. I don't work for RW. Just used them before and I'm satisfied with their service.

I see. Cushion size is most important for me. I don't run much, only about 5 miles a week.

I don't like Hoka prices but they have the thickest cushion,
These played Saucony shoes are for race days, the non plated ones for speed training/racing. Hoka's are a daily trainer and if you want, you could do racing, but not sure if they have a lower weight version.

Thanks, used this successfully! Been waiting on a sale on these shoes for a while. Got the Endorphin pro at Saucony for under $100 after coupon, cashback and a random $10 off voucher that was unexpectedly applied in my Paypal account. I don't see anyone getting the comparable Nike shoes for anywhere near this price. Now I need to find a good half or full to better my PRs!

Amazing coupon! 25% off is no joke!!! Thanks. I cancelled my RW order and went through Saucony. Saucony does charge sales tax and return shipping is not free unless you do an exchange.

I'm going to amend my original info to include this deal if you don't mind. Hopefully the coupon is not like the Hoka/REI fiasco 🤣🤣🤣

These do not compare to the next%'s IMHO. I tried both and if you really want to see improvement in the half/full from a shoe you have to spend the $250

You should check out New Balance More Foam v3 or Nike ZoomX Invincible if you have thick and soft cushioned shoes

Speed is the best trainer/ racing shoe for amateur s. I tried mach 4, Invincible run. Speed is still the best. You will see instant improvement on your pace.

I would disagree - but to each their own. I have 4 pair of vaporfly from OG to Next% - and while I like the Next% - they are stupid uncomfortable and after 26 miles I'm ready to get those boogers off my feet. The saucony are like house slippers on crack. They might be 1-2 seconds/mile slower but it's not much.

So I guess if you are running a 3:01 in the Endorphin Pro and really want a 2:59.59 - then go with the Next% - otherwise the Endorphins will more than suffice.
