The primary constructive takeaway from my post was intended as: S10>>N200 and don't fall for 5G hype. You seem to hope that T-Mobile is doing something special with their 5G deployment... and while it differs from what Verizon does, that doesn't actually produce a better result nor could it meet the expectations built around 5G. I'll explore that below in case you're interested(?).

The distinction which launches the article I shared (which did center on Verizon) is the same for T-Mobile: the form of 5G which would provide the benefits touted by some sources is exceptionally rare. T-Mobile gives their own version of this which is fairly telling:

https://www.t-mobile.com/news/net...-and-speed

T-Mobile's TLDR is that:

AT&T is an open liar (i.e. 5GE is faux 5G)
Verizon has some work to do on expanding mmWave 5G
(And by extension delivering on the promise of 5G)
Please don't take notice that T-Mobile is also not delivering mmWave 5G
(Basically they talk a lot of trash about mmWave without highlighting the distinction on what it delivers: true, low-latency, gigabit 5G capacity)

While T-Mobile touts the expansion of mid-band 5G, you will notice no mention of a huge mmWave deployment of their own... because they don't have one. More specifically they have very little spectrum in that space and no significant plans for deploying it beyond the few high-density scenarios which will distinguish 5G for years to come: stadiums and high-density urban centers like the middle of Times Square.

https://www.fiercewireless.com/op...mall-cells

Instead what T-Mobile has done is dedicated more of their existing 4G LTE network to 5G in the same way they quickly repurposed their 3G network to 4G in a bid to maintain relevance in the 4G era. At the time, they lacked the desirable low-band real estate purchased by Verizon, but saw they could maximize the efficiency of the bandwidth they had. The way that plays out similarly today is a 5G network which provides an incremental efficiency improvement over the prior network configuration and whose growth is built upon mid-band spectrum acquired from Sprint.

Maybe some of this is interesting to someone(?).

Good luck!

The OnePlus N200 is probably better from the standpoint it has a Snapdragon and more importantly 1080p screen. It's also an IPS screen on the Nord.

The A32 only has a 720p screen and Mediatek processor.

Comparison:

The main advantage to the A32 is in theory it should have a physically better camera.

Just a heads up, I talked to a Sprint agent and they told me the phone has to be active on the line to get the credit. Not sure if T Mobile is different.
False information...
No need to be active to get credit

This or Samsung A32?
The A32 is a great phone for old folks. Just got one for my retired mother and she loves it. I would rather have the Nord for myself.

Is the phone unlocked or is it locked to T-Mobile. I'm looking to sell this phone if I can.
It is locked until you paid off plus 40 days usage to be eligible to get unlocked.
it has almost no reselling value anyway

I got the Samsung A32 5G phone last month to retire my Samsung J7 on MetroPCS. It's a really nice phone, a lot more storage, retains a headphone jack, SD card slot and it has a really nice camera setup. It detects food and prompts you for a food mode. It's a lot more sophisticated. It's plenty fast. Apps load almost instantly. If you have fast wifi, this thing flies. They didn't offer me any upgrade discount other than the standard discount at the store for being a customer for at least 2 years, or whatever the criteria is. I should have logged into Slick Deals and looked for the deals. I do really like the phone. I probably would get the A32 5G over the Nord, because it's a Samsung. You put a tempered glass screen protector and an Otterbox Lite case and the phone is a tank. The only reason I bought a 5G version is for future proofing for a least another few years.

I got the A32 last June and I hate the bloatware samsung apps. The screen is 720p compare to nord 200 that has 1080p plus limited bloatware.

I haven't tried the revvl v+ 5g yet, I saw the reviews and the screen is basically the same as the A32. Can't handle the 720p screen plus the nord has the snapdragon compare to mediatek.

Of the 3 free phones, I picked the nord because of the screen resolution + pixel and snapdragon.

I've been on Visible for at least a year at $25/mo unlimited everything. I wouldn't switch to TMobile if they gave me $100 to take the phone. I save $200 every 10 months and won't have to switch carriers...phones last a lot longer than 10 months.

this deal is not about switching. it's about getting a free phone in exchange of your 15 years old phone.

Agreed. I have the a32 and n200 for comparison. The speed feels about the same and the screen size difference isn't noticiable for everyday use. The big plus for me is the n200 feels much thiner and more comfortable. It's my daily driver when I need to use the cheap 2nd phone instead of my primary (flagship) phone.

The only downside of the n200 compared to the a32 is the shorter length of support. I personally don't care but will be a factor others
