That is a question loaded with variables. Anyways I will give my data points as a reference. For me here, 5G is a couple miles away on TMO and not that great. However, on my newer devices with the Standalone 5G Sim Card (VS say another same phone that i just popped in old SIM in instead). . .the phones with SA sims get 100-150mbps, where as the non SA sim phones gets 60-100 normally, all other things equal.

Another quirk is the 5G home internet Gateway I recently got. It seems to be non SA 5G, further evidenced by the primary signal always being set at 4G no matter how you twerk the online settings (other than shutting of 4G altogether, which shuts down communication in the end). And keep in mind I never get better than 'Good" signal on the app (There are higher VG and Excellent ratings). . .but when I am at "Good" it pulls from B2 4G or B66 4G. . .and Gives me 50-100Mbps hardwired. . .and when I twist the gateway slightly to where it gives me "Weak" signal. . .it seems to pull off the N71 5G tower and my speeds jump up to 100-200mbps hardwired. For reference, my 4G towers are just under a mile away due east, and the n71 5G tower is roughly 2 miles away and to the NE, so it's not that hard to try and exclude one or the other. . .

If you're planning on sticking with T-Mobile for the next 2 years, this is a great deal. They're giving $800 for Pixel 3s and S8s!

No, the phone can't have any cracks on the screen and must be functional.

Me either. And chat had no idea what I was talking about. Beginning to think it's bullshit.
I was able to confirm the deal in chat roughly an hour ago.

Update:

The deal is live. I managed to have the live chat order the S21 Ultra on my One Plus promo account and double check the payments and credits. My rep was able to give $800 off my Pixel 3. This was given to me via chat:

For a limited time in all markets, get a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G on us (max credit $800), or up to $800 off Galaxy S21 Plus 5G, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Note 20 5G, Note 20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, or Galaxy Z Flip 5G on us (via one-time trade-in credit and monthly Recurring Device Credits (RDC)) when you purchase it on Equipment installment plan with an eligible rate plan and trade in a qualifying phone. This offer will appear on the customer's bill as "2021 Samsung Trade P11".

YMMV depending on the rep and your configuration

No. The promo credit for the A32 5G will be overwritten. There is no way to move promo credit from one line to another. Any remaining promo credit will be forfeit.

Since the deal is tied to a line, you can just use this deal on a line that currently doesn't have a promo on it.
I had the Samsung A32 promotion on my line. I paid off the balance, and upgraded to free Iphone 12 promotion for mother day. The bill credit on the Samsung A32 promotion moves to the account level, and helps to reduce my monthly bill. In my case, it took 2 billing cycle for the bill credit to show up. On that line, I receive bill credit on account level for the Samsung A32, and I receive system level bill credit for the Iphone 12 device. You must keep the line active to receive bill credit and device credit. I talked to 3 TForce through Twitter before I paid off the A32.

How do I get this with nonpayment plan? I rather pay for the phone in full. Or can I lay it if in full after the installment starts like on the next billing cycle?

Don't they charge you a fee for using a rep to upgrade?

No charge for me and I even asked for free shipping and they provided that. They did mention a $30 credit, I assume that covered the SIM charge and admin fee?

All the fine line wording.. I figure it's still cheaper for me to spend 600$ on a phone and have my 4 lines of unlimited for 100$. Otherwise your spending like 90 a line so you can have free Netflix and 10 gigs of hotspot and unlimited data. Well my home internet gets paid also so I get plenty of data their also and no need for a hotspot or hd streaming.

Off topic, T mobile signal is not great here, but they do have one of the best customer service. With them being one of the better 5G network, will that improve signal strength? Or 5G means you get faster speed if you get good coverage?

I will stay with them if they can improve their signal strength in the near future.
I've been having issues with 5g and voice calls not working. If you turn off 5g it works again.

Actually that $30 fee is a bullshit charge that they tack on.

These deals almost always come in as a 24 month, or some other amount of months, based deal, that don't allow for paying the device off early. I've tried to take advantage of other good deals on a new phone, asking if I could just pay it off all at once. I've always been told that if I paid it off all at once I would have to pay whatever the full retail was at that moment. The terms of the deals are only structured to be done over a period of time.

But in this case, all you pay is the tax anyway, you're getting a monthly credit for the phone's monthly payments.
